Busy night for them with a show at The Stanley but it was great. Food was very good and fast for a packed restaurant. We will be back!

Made reservations but was still sat between the bar and the door on a cold day. Requested a different table, was told it could not be accommodated by the host, and then she immediately sat another party of two in a separate room. The open kitchen filled the room with smoke like substance and made my eyes water throughout the whole encounter. Drunk people kept approaching us at our table and touching our arms unwanted. Server was very socially awkward, and the table was not cleared. Normally it would have not been an issue but it was a very small high top table at which multiple drinks, appetizers and dinners were ordered. Not the date night we wished for. This was our first and last time visiting this restaurant.

I always being welcomed to Ancora even if I am dining alone, with friends or my Dining Group! Last night's Rack of Lamb was delicious!

Excellent food and our server was great. Our food was delivered uick and hot. The staff definitely realized we were on a time schedule to see a play.

We had to reschedule for an hr later than we reserved due to getting a flat tire on the way. Which made itvery tight for making it to a Stanley Theatre Show that same night. Staff was wonderful to reschedule us and the waiter gave us fast recommendations and made sure not only did we get some fabulous food, but it was quick and we made it to our show.

A hidden gem, amongst the hyped-up, pretentious, over priced "popular" restaurants. The service was spot on, the drinks were good and reasonable, the bread and oil were a nice treat, and the lobster ravioli special was the best I've ever had. I even had leftovers! Visit Ancora, next to the Stanley, and you will be delighted without breaking the bank!
Excellent food and service! Gorgonzola potatoes and greens were delicious folk is wed by great main courses and desserts.

Ancora is an absolute gem in Utica. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming without feeling pretentious. The chicken riggies are the best in the area. You can tell the sauce is homemade with just the right kick and the pasta was cooked perfectly. The honey glazed salmon was cooked to perfection as well and just the right balance of sweet and savory. Service was attentive and friendly without being overbearing.

I always go here for family events and celebrations! The staff here are so amazing and the food is to die for! It definitely is fine dining in the area but not the kind that leaves you hungry! The calamari and salmon are so divine here!!
