When they offered the crepes for delivery, I would get that too!However, I've noticed this trend where it's nearly impossible to order takeout. This has happened on multiple occasions and more often within the last few months. I find that when it is open, and I do order, the order is immediately cancelled and only then is the takeout/delivery option unavailable for the rest of the night.Again, I love the food. I'm not going out to dinner alone, however, and it's consistently disappointing when you're craving the ever-so delicious Ancora riggies only to have your dinner plans pulled from you with no explanation.

Ancora never disappoints.. From the moment you walk thru the door you are welcomed.. Last night was a concert night, which I didn't know and had a pub table for 3.... Waitstaff was great.. Food was delicious as well.. Mini bottle of Prosecco on ice is a nice added touch.. Hard to review Ancora because it is one of my favorites place with consistent food, staff and atmosphere.. Great job Dan and your staff..

So incredibly mediocre. For the price, such a ripoff. I wanted to like it so bad, but it felt like the food was defrosted and the drinks could’ve been from Applebees.

I took my boyfriend out for his birthday. We had an earlier reservation at 5:30 which worked perfectly for us. There were 2 groups of ladies at the bar having a drink before their reservations but besides that there weren't too many people! We enjoyed our waitress (I do not recall her name but she has short blonde hair and was taller and slender) she was spot on and super awesome and attentive. He had the chicken riggies which is one of his favorite dishes. He said the amount of peppers and sauce to pasta and chicken ratio was perfect he likes extra saucy pasta and lots of peppers! I had the chicken francaise which was also amazing. I did substitute the pasta for risotto which was delicious. I also really enjoyed the spinach it came with as it was super garlicky and not cooked down too much! It's safe to say we most certainly will be back.

I have had events st this restaurant and regularly order takeout, occasionally eat in. Typically, I have no complaints. We made a reservation for my birthday tonight. I had been looking forward to the riggies all week. Order my riggies, gluten free, medium on the level of spiciness, my daughter orders the same, my husband orders a steak cooked medium rare. Our table is in an awkward corner and it was difficult to get out, when my husband had to use the restroom i had to get up and walk all the way around the table so he could get out. Food takes a very long time, waiter stops once and fills my husband's water, mine stays empty. Eventually our food comes, steak is medium well, maybe even well, my riggies are burnt, chicken is burnt, onions burnt, all you can taste is the burnt flavor and they are mild, not medium. My daughter's were not burnt but were also mild. The waiter disappeared for a long time so we went to the bar to ask for our check and a to go box for the remainder of my daughter's food, my bowlof food was left on the tablebasicallyuneaten. No real apology for the awful service, they did say they would remake the food but we had already been there an hour. I usually like their food, but this was a special occasion and food and service were both absolutely awful. It will be a long time before I go back.Restaurant says meals were comped, I paid the bill, $71 plus a tip for the waiter that disappeared. I would guess that the riggies that were left behind were removed from the bill because I said I was not waiting for another serving to be prepared.

Three of us decided to just do appetizers for the evening. We had greens, calamari, gorgonzola potatoes, and bruschetta. Everything was delicious. We also had two crepes for dessert, amazing. One of our favorite restaurants.

Fast, friendly and delicious. This is hands down one of my favorite restaurants in Utica. Ordered Riggies to go tonight and as usual it did not disappoint. 10/10!
It was a show night, so it was a bit crowded as everyone was trying to have dinner before heading to the show. Tables are so close together that you feel like you can't hear your own conversation because you're hearing everyone else's. Food was amazing. Service was amazing. Would definitely return.
We had a decent experience. It was busy as expected for a show night. We arrived early and placed our order immediately. Food took a while, again as expected for a full house at 5pm due to the show. Food was hot and taste. Order was delivered correctly.

I went to Ancora for a baby shower. We utilized the back room for a party of around 25 guests. It was spacious, decorated with a Christmas tree, and set up well for eating, game playing, mingling, and gift opening. The bartenders were very attentive and went above and beyond. They made sure everyone had water while they were playing games, mixed my daughters fruit punch from scratch, and cooked them chicken tenders when they wouldn't eat the "adult food." Our party had food off of the catering menu: Chicken Riggies, Utica greens, meatballs, and mashed potatoes. I like how they included hot peppers on the side in case you wanted to spice your Riggies up a bit. The meatballs were so big and meaty that they were cut in half. The plates we were offered were even pretty! The food was delicious! I will certainly be back for dinner sometime with my husband when we are in the Utica-area.

Best chicken Riggies I've had in a long time, and I've been eating them for 40 years! Polenta fries to die for and the kindest server ever. This place continues to deliver awesome food great drinks and a super friendly staff,, keep it up y'all!!
