Called to place a large order for takeout ahead of time, actually twice, as the first time I was “calling too early”. Spoke to Angela (owner) on the phone both times. She was extremely rude both entire phone calls. I was attempting to place an order for about 10 people, (I don’t work for a restaurant, I have no idea how much food to order for 10 people)- she continued to ask me in a rude tone “what exactly I wanted to order!?”. I decided to take my order somewhere else as a paying customer. I just cannot believe how rude she was on the phone as I was attempting to support her business. Sadly will not go back.

What a cute little place! And they make you feel right at home. The staff was super nice, very attentive. The food - local specialty called Riggies - was very delicious, a must try, and the portion was huge. Most certainly recommend this restaurant.
Bella Regina is a beautiful experience. The wait staff is super friendly and courteous, the decorative theme of the restaurant is adorable, and the food is magical. We had chicken Parm and eggplant Parm and both were beyond satisfying! We will be back for the Riggies next time!!!

I was on a road trip and stopped here on the way. We weren’t too sure how it would be, but were pleasantly surprised! I ordered the Elvis sandwich and it was very good. The service was quick! I would recommend stopping here if traveling as it is very assessable from the 90.
An additional bonus of the restaurant is that it is very nicely decorated on the inside. Although I didn’t grab a photo, I can say that it was well thought out.

Bella Regina is back where it used to be 10-15 years ago. I remember the chicken riggies being awesome, and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere is nice and calm and the service was pretty good. The greens are different than I expected, maybe fresher with more lettuce. Anyway, it’s not quite my style but my wife absolutely loved them.

Have heard so many great things about the food and I was not disappointed. Everything was great, staff is friendly and the food is absolutely delicious!! HUGE portions so make sure to go hungry! We will definitely be going back!!!
If you are looking for authentic Italian food, this is the place. Everything made to order. I had Shrimp Alfredo was so good! Many, many shrimp, yummy broccoli and pasta with a stupendous sauce. The bread was excellent! You are served Tomato Pie for a pre-dinner treat. The wait staff are wonderful. The pictures and posters inside are so much fun. ? Haven’t had dinner out that was this good since before COVID!!!!!!

First-time here. The place was busy. We waited less than 5 minutes to be seated. Then another 5-10 to be waited on, but it was OK. You could tell they were short staffed and doing as best as they could. The food was excellent.
Amazing chicken riggies/food in general and a t-shirt if you can eat them all. The waitress was wonderful and explained a couple menu questions I had delightfully even though it was super busy. Only negative was parking lot was a touch tight for parking, but the outdoor dining area was great with awesome umbrellas

Long time CNY resident but this was my first visit here.
Service was absolutely top notch - our server was Tess - did a great job! She was very helpful.
Food was really good - we tried their greens as an appetizer and they were tasty, but different than most Utica greens we’ve tried before. I think they use a different style of green. It was a good appetizer, but a little different.
They give you a small piece of tomato pie and it was very tasty.
For a meal we shared their veal parm and it was delightfully good.
Good meal, great service, and a fun vibe. Well worth a try.
