My husband and I stopped in for a date night and I have to say, we were utterly impressed with the service and the food! Our waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. I’m very picky with my riggies and they were better than I could have imagined!

Great meal at Bella Regina. Four diners and not a single complaint.
Sicilian riggies were very good and enough for two meals.
Great service from Diane!

Dined here tonight and everything from the moment we walked in to the moment we left was perfect! The food speaks for itself! We started off with their house tomatoe pie and then had Riggies, Greens, Chicken Alfredo, garlic bread and canolies. If you've never been, make it a point to give them a try, you won't be disappointed! Thanks Bella Regina for the perfect dinner ♥️

BEWARE OF EATING HERE!! The veins in the chicken, the way I was treated and the flies buzzing around the indoor table made this a truly miserable experience. The food was horribly unappetizing due to the veiny chicken that also seemed a bit undercooked. I asked to send it back and order something different. I was told no, that there was nothing wrong with the meal. The only option was for them remake the meal for me. If I wanted something different, I would have to pay for both meals! I feel that I was treated very poorly, that the food was disgusting and the flys hovering over me were gross. I will never eat here again.

The Best Riggies in the entire area, no discrepancy or comparison to any place. If you love Riggies like we do, you HAVE to come here. Service is always pleasant and very nice even if its busy. The atmosphere is VERY Italian with lots to look at with antiques. One of the best places to eat in the area hands down. 13/10 recommended.

Had dinner there this evening. Was expecting outstanding food but was very disappointed. Ordered greens which were fair-not true Utica greens for sure. Main meal was Cavitelli over greens-hardly ate any of it. Not a lot of flavor. Husband had spaghetti and said it was just ok. He is Italian and knows good sauce. Friends ordered piggies (Chicken & Veggie) which they said were good. Another eggplant part-not very good. Was flabbergasted at a glass of Moscato was over $12 when we got the bill. Waitress was very friendly and was great. Other staff were friendly also. $100-not worth it.

Isn’t much to say here.. it’s great food and atmosphere. I thought about Mother’s Day with my beloved Cindy and Mary. Miss both of those ladies.
My wife worked last night a 13 hr. shift as an RN and drove an hour home. She was craving linguini and clam sauce. The husband that I am waited until 1:00 pm to call and order 2 orders of this as they closed at 2. I drove 25 minutes to go pick it up even after the lady on the phone was rude and seemed inconvenienced. I got there 5 minutes early and my food was already sitting on the counter getting cold.
After 5 minutes of standing at the counter, the waitress finally came over to cash me out. 60 dollars for 2 lunches. The two women were less than friendly. I drove home and woke my wife up to eat.
Gross. The linguini was fettuccine and the taste was terrible. I almost broke my tooth on clam shell and the clams were mostly mushy. I didn't even know that clams could have this consistency. They were not cleaned at all and I think there was more sand in our mouths than clam. I never leave reviews but we work hard for our money and we literally tossed 60 bucks down the drain.
I’ve given Bella Regina multiple chances, but after several negative experiences, I feel compelled to share my truth.
The first time I visited with my best friend, there were open tables, yet we were not seated. My friend is Black and I’m Indian, and I genuinely believe we were treated differently because of our race. It was deeply uncomfortable and disheartening.
On another visit, I made it clear I am a strict vegetarian for religious reasons and asked for no meat. Despite this, I found a piece of chicken in my food. When I called, I was met with denial and rudeness, I was told it “wasn’t possible” because each dish is made to order. I had to bring the food back just to receive a refund, and not once did anyone offer an apology.
The most recent experience was the final straw. I explicitly reminded them of the previous issue and again requested that my food be carefully checked for meat. I went home and found a large piece of chicken. When I called, I was once again told it was “impossible.” The manager, Angela, responded dismissively after I sent a photo, saying it must have been “transferred” from another dish. No ownership, no genuine apology, just a cold, impersonal response.
I understand that mistakes happen, but the way they were handled, with denial, condescension, and apathy is unacceptable. The repeated disregard, especially toward a religious dietary restriction, is hurtful. Combined with the racially charged experience during my first visit, I can no longer support this establishment.
I strongly urge others, especially people of color and those with dietary restrictions, to think twice before dining here. Respect and accountability matter and unfortunately, I experienced neither at Bella Regina.
Called to place a large order for takeout ahead of time, actually twice, as the first time I was “calling too early”. Spoke to Angela (owner) on the phone both times. She was extremely rude both entire phone calls. I was attempting to place an order for about 10 people, (I don’t work for a restaurant, I have no idea how much food to order for 10 people)- she continued to ask me in a rude tone “what exactly I wanted to order!?”. I decided to take my order somewhere else as a paying customer. I just cannot believe how rude she was on the phone as I was attempting to support her business. Sadly will not go back.

What a cute little place! And they make you feel right at home.
The staff was super nice, very attentive. The food - local specialty called Riggies - was very delicious, a must try, and the portion was huge.
Most certainly recommend this restaurant.
