For real authentic Italian pastries, I don't think you could beat Florentine. There are so many delicious sweets that it is difficult to choose what to get. I love the almond paste cookies and the cannolis. This is a nice quiet place to stop in for a coffee and a pastry, and has a quaint Italian feel to it. Thank you Florentine for offering such wonderful treats to Utica for so many years.
What more can you say? A Utica institution!!! Been going there for over 50 years. Our wedding cake was made there & countless pastry arrangements & assorted boxes over the years.
The Pasticiotti was so delicious I ate it before I took a picture. I tried pistachio. They also have coconut and raspberry in addition to the traditional flavors. The almond paste cookies were delicious also.
A nice seating area is available and this is a cozy place to enjoy a coffee and pastry.
