Me and my coworker ordered lunch, I had the empanadas and she had the steak with peppers and onions. The food was good and the portions were big for the price. 10 out of 10, recommend!
I have been searching for authentic Spanish food and omfgg this place is %1000 it. Empanadas ,rice and beans, oxtail!! what more needs to be said, The staff are very pleasant and welcoming !! Will recommend to everyone I know.

El Barajo has long been on my list of restaurants to try in the Utica area. We finally ordered lunch from there via UberEats and were very pleased with our meal. We ordered the pollo guisado, camaronfongo, and a vegetable empanada. All three were delicious, but I especially enjoyed the pollo guisado. The chicken--all dark meat, which I prefer--was melt-off-the-bone tender and very well-seasoned.
