It’s a Utica thing kitchen and bar is definitely worth it.. now the location is deceiving don’t look like much but walk in the door you will be surprised.. I was dying for chicken riggies and it’s hard to find good ones a lot of places will say they make good or the best but I know good riggies and they fall short BUT THIS PLACE YUP NAILED IT!! My husband had eggplant parm use to it coming w/a side pasta so that was lacking they gave bread with your meal which was delicious and warm. The salad was good but everything is Al la carte. For the two of us with main dish side salad and my husband had a soda it was 54$..

Let's be honest here. $25 for a plate of riggies and $25 for a chicken Caesar salad is a little ridiculous. Food was just "ok". I'm not from Utica originally, and have had some amazing riggies in the past from households.. I was craving riggies and thought I'd order from here. It's a Utica Thing did not deliver on the "best riggies in Utica".. by far. Overpriced and honestly, quite bland. Esp for $60 after tax and a tip.

Food was amazing!! So good and such reasonable prices. The Bruschetta and Clam Vincenzo appetizers were fantastic. Riggies, Filet and chicken francaise were all out of this world. Service was excellent and it's beautiful inside.

Great food and our server was really nice. Wings were out of this world. Reason we’re giving it a 3 is we mainly came cause of the “no restriction, no messing around and no hassle” happy hour. Nothing says in their website that it’s only for the bar. So, kind of false advertising, for only at the bar is a huge restrictions and the way they promote it is really messing around.

Woah! This food is sooo good! My husband and I both got vodka riggies. The sauce was so good, we ended up buying jars to bring home! The bread was so fresh and delicious. We saw multiple other meals come out for other tables and everything looked incredible. Highly, HIGHLY recommend!

Waitress told our table the price of special. Then when the bill came it was $7 higher. She said yea sorry. Then charged us for someone else's bill. And never took the $7 per order off like she said she would after talking to her manager. We all just paid the extra seven and left.

I will start by saying I will give this place another try. The owner or manager came over a couple of times to check on us and was very apologetic about the wait time. We had a reservation and we were seated right away but it took a long time to get water and place drink orders... then another wait to order, and the food took a long time, as well. We were there for two hours. I think the manager/owner handled it well, she was apologetic and offered us drinks/dessert on the house and when we declined she brought out a big piece of chocolate cake for my son packed to go. That was very nice. Her efforts are why I would give it another try. The food was very good. We had pastini soup, wings, chicken parm, the pork chop, the filet sandwich, the chicken riggies and the eggplant/spinach pizza. We all agreed that all of our various food choices were very good. The atmosphere is a little confusing... the decor is on par for a high end atmosphere but the lighting was super bright and in combination with the booths felt more like a diner than a nice restaurant. Some dimming of the lights and some candles would really improve the ambiance, in my opinion. Also they had live music for a Saturday night which I usually enjoy but it was very loud. It made our family dinner conversation difficult and it was difficult to hear the waitress. Overall, I think this place has a lot of potential. Give it a try!

Took my daughter here on a mom and daughter night out. Our food was pretty good and the server was kind and attentive. The price was shocking. After we placed our orders we were asked what kind of salad we liked, house or Caesar. We both said house and then were charged extra for the salads at $6 a piece. And they had pools of water under them and a lot of wilted greens. The server presented them to us in a way that made it seem they were part of our meal. And they should have been given the prices of the meals. We wound up paying $74 after tip for the two of us. We both got an entree, salad, and a soda. If it weren’t for the price we may have come back but that is just a lot of money for what the place is and what you get. We won’t be back because of that.

Check all the boxes here... Nicely decorated, all new decor, friendly servers, and best of all the food is delish! Oh and don't forget the happy hour specials are the best of all.I had a couple of drafts, Saranac and Prison City, both excellent! The sausage riggies was a blackboard selection, and boy was I glad I did.So fresh, and tasty, the pasta cooked right, onions, peppers, cheesy, sauce( oh yeah "It's a Utica Thing" gravy) and sausage, with just enough heat..sooo goood! Must try!
