It’s a bar in an old, dark, borderline creepy place. Gives a haunted house vibe.But their draft beer selection is usually good. I’ve had apps there before, although not this time and they were good.Bartenders always know there stuff. It’s all in all a decent bar/restaurant.
The food was wonderful! However, I gave it a 5 star rating because of the food beer! It was delicious! The Saranac experience is definitely something you should try if you are anywhere near Varick street. The following is a recent menu price... please go enjoy!
We googled dog friendly restaurants and this came up with great reviews. Glad we went. Great porch to have a meal or drink with our dog in tow. Menu was simple with some twists on classics. We got there too early for the band but they had a special themed around them. Food came fast and was delicious. Wait staff was super friendly and my dog got a nice bowl of water and tons of pets from the regulars.
