Great service, food was delicious. Noise level for a nice dining experience is way too loud. Should be subtle in the background. It's a restaurant not a night club and it kills the ambience. Wine pours are very small. You get a nice generous pour in any 5 star restaurant. They charge a ridiculous amount for that. You get a 4 ounce pour in a large wine glass. Ridiculous! You get better pours at Tailor and the Cook and Turning Stone.

Reason for 4 stars instead of 5...their wine pour needs to improve. 4 oz for 17 bucks in Utica..no This is not NYC. All their pours are poor..😏 atleast go 5 oz or lower your single glass price a tad. Cocktails delish.

We so enjoyed our anniversary dinner with Nostro! Cocktails & appetizers were lovely, we were impressed with the White Truffle Garlic Bread (a unique and somewhat delicate spin on a familiar classic ) The pace of the meal was balanced, great service. Handmade pasta for our entrees was absolutely divine, I'll be thinking about the Sweetcorn & Saffron Ravioli for years to come. This restaurant is a true gem of Utica, we will be returning again for dinner very soon!

We enjoy this restaurant. The food is very good with some unique and tasteful menu selections. The sweet corn ravioli is delicious. The portions are very good, salads are large enough for two to share. My only wish is the pour for a glass of wine was more generous. Seems like a glass is only 4 ounces instead of 6 or 8. Even their half carafe seems small. Staff was fine. Interesting the server asked if we were celebrating anything and we noted we were out to dinner for a birthday. And after that there was no acknowledgement. Seems like the restaurant would have something extra for a special occasion. Even a few cookies at the close of the meal would be a sweet touch.

Reliable Italian fare. Love the arugula salad and truffle pasta dish. Decent wine selection. Spacious setting. Can get a little loud. Portions are on the smaller side (vs a lot of Italian restaurant portions), but sufficient.

Hardly any diners so little to no ambiance. Service was rushed, no bread offered and, after ordering one beer, was told that was the last one available. Food was excellent however. Remaining two servers were OK but, all in all, a most disappointing experience on an evening we were looking forward to.

Overall, we were disappointed. Kelly, our server, did a wonderful job. She was friendly and attentive. The sausage and peppers appetizer were very good, but the entrees were mundane. The chicken was dry and flavorless, and the potatoes were greasy. The rigatoni was too Al Dente, and the sauce was not very favorable. Hopefully just an off night for the kitchen as we've been here before and have enjoyed our meals. Will visit Nostro again and hope for the best.
I had grilled shrimp and my husband had branzinp . Really good . The drinks were very enjoyable . The Bartender made excellent drinks . My server was so pleasant and attentive . Nostro's is my favorite restaurant

We had a great night at Nostro's. We had a family dinner before going to the Stanley. We had a round of drinks at the bar (the Buffalo Trace Manhattan was spot on) before being seated. The service and food was excellent. The white truffle garlic bread was excellent. We enjoyed the evening. Thanks to the staff for a great night

As always, the ambience at Nostros' is great. The staff is extremely friendly. Our food was delivered timely and 'hot' out of the kitchen. This is the perfect restaurant especially if you're going to the Stanley Theater for a show/play. We'll be back again!
