We stopped here on a whim on a recent visit to Utica. The restaurant itself is really well done and beautiful with the Victorian elements. They have great food for a great price. They serve Saranac beer and soda, which we loved so much we got more for the road in the gift shop. Also, the employee working in the gift shop is wonderful at his job! Very kind and informative and had a pleasant demeanor.
My favorite brewery in the country... a new york transplant to California.. Ive tasted and been to so many breweries in California and nothing compares to Saranac. This is a family place that is so close to my heart, and for sure is a staple to Upstate NY and the USA... my great uncle used to work here, my familys from here, and my cousin currently works here, and I couldnt be prouder of him and the work he does.. we all care... the history here is our history. We love this place...
My boyfriend and I did the tour. Our guide was Tom per personable and comical knew all the history! Good food one bartender out was a little snotty but didn’t ruin my day ! Food was very good !
