What a great opportunity to savor Utica Greens ( fantastic) and delicious riggies. It's fun to explore new regional cuisine. My only question is why these haven't been picked up around the world. Our waitress was excellent and the staff made us feel welcomed.
Overall service was excellent! That said, short of the calamari and the pizza, the entrees came up wayyyy short. The veal, eggplant, and chicken parm were average at best. I'm thinking, how can you crush calamari like you did and then flop with the entree?! Simple entrees are better entrees. Good breading. Good AL DENTE pasta and tasty sauce and you'll crush it.
The food was very good, especially the housemade pasta and the cannoli. Service was prompt and not overly present. We sat outside and thoroughly enjoyed our meal and our time together.
