Chris' Cafe

I stopped by chris’s cafe this evening after work to grab some dessert and I was not disappointed! They had 3 different flavors of cupcakes available and I bought one of each. The pumpkin cupcake had cinnamon frosting which was to die for. The Black Forest one did not disappoint with its cherry filled center and delicious frosting. Been eating here off and on for five years.Under new ownership, and it shows. In a GOOD way! Bright (the shades were raised) and clean (used to be so grimy) and a fresh new menu. No more pizza oven- the focus now on more diner fare. We had wings (meaty and mostly flats) and a good Rueben sandwich (quality, tasty meat, needed more butter on the bread…if I go for a Rueben, it should taste like I’m cheating! ). Very friendly staff with great service, and great quality food! Had a burger and fries there the other day, the burger was massive and juicy, the bun melted in your mouth, and all the fixings were tasty and delicious! The fries were hot and crisp, and the coleslaw was one of the tastiest I've had! If you're looking for a spot to eat, relax, and have great service and good company all around, this is THE spot!
