1st time ordered a turkey club w/o tomatoes... club was good after I picked off tomatoes. 2nd time they had no turkey and was very rude after putting me on hold for 10 minutes so I ordered elsewhere. Yes a 3rd time, ordered once again turkey club and mac and cheese. Well I got a regular turkey soggy sandwich with the worst mac n cheese I've ever had. I threw it out. I could even get the guys at the shop to eat it. Not sure how these people stay in business. I won't be going back, just awful.

Flatbread pizza? What happened to the regular pizza my family loved the other pizzas probably won't get again

I stopped by chris’s cafe this evening after work to grab some dessert and I was not disappointed! They had 3 different flavors of cupcakes available and I bought one of each. The pumpkin cupcake had cinnamon frosting which was to die for. The Black Forest one did not disappoint with its cherry filled center and delicious frosting. And the vanilla cupcake was filled with strawberries, which was also as amazing as the rest. Safe to say I was beyond satisfied and I hope they continue to sell these delicious cupcakes because I will definitely be stopping by soon to grab some more!

My family and I have been getting our pizza here on a regular basis for years (since it was called The Italian Place). Had such a unique flavor. So disappointing to find out that this recipe is now completely lost. No pizza at all now? You won't see me then.

Food was disgusting. The four cheese mac n cheese tasted like rotten milk n garbage, idk if it was the cheese or it was bad. I threw it out. Pulled pork had bones in it n some pieces of meet were so hard it hurt my mouth, also threw away. New owners are running it in to the ground. Stay clear.

Been eating here off and on for five years.Under new ownership, and it shows. In a GOOD way! Bright (the shades were raised) and clean (used to be so grimy) and a fresh new menu. No more pizza oven- the focus now on more diner fare. We had wings (meaty and mostly flats) and a good Rueben sandwich (quality, tasty meat, needed more butter on the bread…if I go for a Rueben, it should taste like I’m cheating! ). My kids loved the fries, which were hot and crispy. Simple cheese quesadilla. We’ll get more adventurous with our order next time. I liked the new menu, which paid homage to its Valatie roots. Lovely, attentive waiter and the promise of more positive changes to come. I’ll be back to try the burgers and a long list of tasty looking chicken sandwiches. Still some homemade soups, just not as many options as the old Chris’. Surrounded by fast food and take out, it’s nice to have a pleasant dine-in option. Eat local!

Not impressed by the food. Ordered a pizza for my kids and myself and the waitstaff never brought plates. And when asked for plates they put them on the table like it was an inconvenience will not return unfortunately.

Very friendly staff with great service, and great quality food! Had a burger and fries there the other day, the burger was massive and juicy, the bun melted in your mouth, and all the fixings were tasty and delicious! The fries were hot and crisp, and the coleslaw was one of the tastiest I've had! If you're looking for a spot to eat, relax, and have great service and good company all around, this is THE spot!

Waiter was super nice and explained all the specials very well. Food was on par for a small cafe. My son's wings could have been cooked a little longer, but over good food and prices.

I too was very disappointed with Chris' since it was sold to new owners. My son-in-law warned me that he had gotten a pizza since it changed hands and it was terrible. My wife and I decided we'd still give them a try and ordered the athenian pizza which was always so good. Neither my wife nor I could eat it. We ended up giving it to our pot belly pig. That is the absolute truth. Will never order from there again until something seriously changes.

Delicious food prepared with care and reasonable prices too. Staff are pleasant and friendly. I enjoyed a Buffalo chicken wrap & my husband had the grilled Reuben sandwich for lunch today! Thanks for the wonderful lunch Chris’s Cafe!❤️

So....I bought 2 run-of-the-mill cold subs. I guess they were a foot long. Each sub came with a tiny bag of chips and a not so fresh pickle. The turkey sub had very little meat on it. The Italian had an "ok" amount. The total? TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS. I could have stepped next door to crappy Subway and got two better subs for $16 - and I detest Subway. My expectations are a lot higher in regards to quality in a privately owned shop versus a chain. In this case, I got ripped off and wont ever order subs from them again. Prices are just insane for what you get. Not a good value.

Unexpectedly awesome food. Laid back atmosphere. There was a ton of people in there when we went but the food was worth the wait. We’ll definitely be back soon.

New owners are very nice! Unfortunately the new food sucks and it was actually gross, never had this experience with the previous owner. Another local spot ruined for good food.
