Pre-covid, this was a good Chinese restaurant - very good food and friendly service. Today, the once friendly service has been replaced by "cash or card?" and "here's your hat, what's your hurry?" mentality. Do not be fooled by the three open tables amid a mountain of takeout container boxes. This restaurant does NOT encourage you to eat there. No cups, no plates, no napkins. No place to dispose of your trash. Instead, we were directed to use the trash receptacle on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant. Why bother to keep the tables? For a frequent customer, I was shocked by the rudeness of both individuals behind the counter. This is a restaurant that needs to be replaced by something better.

Since moving here from NYC earlier this year, this is our go-to Chinese food place, the food is always excellent and fast. Generally we order at the counter and wait 10-15 minutes. They always go out of their way to check if they have eggplant for my favorite dish (beef w/ eggplant & garlic sauce.

Purchased take out Nov 11 2023. First time for a bad experience. Food was dry, bland, and egg rolls over cooked. Never had a bad experience before. Anyone know if they have a new chef or owners?

We had a bad experience here about two years ago, but thought we’d give it another try due to the lack of local options. Unfortunately, the “food” was truly disgusting - the egg rolls were burnt to a crisp, the wonton soup had an unsettling and bizarre chemical smell, and from the texture the sesame chicken was clearly made using the knuckles, ligaments and other tendons of (hopefully) the chicken. Had to throw all of it out other than the white rice and chicken with broccoli. Absolute waste of money; won’t be going back ever again.
