“Tacos were really good. I got 2 shrimp and the Birria/consome special. Shrimp were very, very tasty and they don't skimp on the shrimp. Birria was good as well, meat wasn't tender and flavorful. Broth was very well seasoned. The tacos aren't small either, they definitely filled me up. I'll definitely go back.“
“I don't have a lot of other halal food experiences to compare this to but I ordered a combo over rice, got all sauces except BBQ (that sounds weird given the food type), a pita to go with it and a lamb gyro. I meant to get a picture of the combo but some slob ate it all before I could. It was really good, though. I would definitely come back. The guy running it has a bit of a language barrier but it didn't seem to hinder his ability to make the order I placed.“
“Visited this place on a Tuesday for "Taco Tuesday" and it was delicious! It was awesome being greeted by the friendly ladies in the truck working their butts off on a cold rainy winter night. And to top it off the the tacos were tasty and the consume delicious. This should be a top 5 stops for you in Valley Stream 10/10“
“it was amazing!! The proportions of the chicken and rice were in large amounts. The chicken was cooked well and the rice was soft. The salad on the side was very fresh. Overall I recommend this place for kids and adults. The spice levels canbe altered by asking for little hot sauce and more white sauce. The price is affordable and it is ready in less than 10 minutes.“
“Me and a friend went to get food at the truck at the south gate mail.. the wait for the food was long unfortunately but the burgers were really good. I'd definitely go back, but I'd probably go to the store front, or I'd call and place an order.“
“The best birria tacos! Super juicy and loaded and they come with pickled onions on the side. Convenient location right next to parking lot. I usually get the meal (3 tacos and consome) and one or two extra tacos. Very filling. Staff are fast and friendly. Bring cash and don’t forget to tip.“
“If you are looking for good chicken over rice in New York, you make a drive to Jamaica, Queens and visit Numidia. Locals know they are better than Halal Guys, Adel’s and Shah’s (Homelawn & Hilside). Make sure you try the Cheseburger and Kofta. Great additional menu items compared to your usual run off the mill cart.“
“My kids, who are young, don't even like falafel. They each inhaled three (one complimentary at the truck, and two from the kabab platter) and it really is the best falafel I've ever had. I'm sad we didn't get to try the beef kabab but they were basically sold out of almost everything, so we had the chicken and it was AMAZING. I've passed by this truck multiple times when I come into Queens to visit my parents and never tried it and now I don't think I can ever go home without buying some to take with me.“
“I was on a job nearby and was set on getting halal food. I saw this food truck and decided to give it to a try. This is honestly one of the best food trucks I’ve ever tried in NYC. I will never eat general tsos chicken from another Chinese food place again. He also hooked it up with extra chicken. Excellent customer service“
“The best place in New York to get an Italian subs. The customer service is outstanding, always a pleasure going.I’ve recommended to family and friends and after trying the food they love it as well.If you’re in the area and you like Italian sausages this is the only place to go hands down 10/10 ❤️“
“I’m a sucker for a food truck so when I was driving by and saw the No Good Burger truck I bust a quick u-turn and had to see what it was all about. Ordered a double No Good Pops smash which was double patty with American cheese, their pops grilled onions, bacon and their smash sauce on a grilled martins potato roll. All I can say is WOW. Total flavor bomb. Easily the best smash burger I’ve ever had. While burgers are obviously their specialty I saw wings on the menu and after tasting the quality of the burger I had to order some wings. Tossed in the buffaque sauce the wings were crispy but still tender. Had to order a churro for good measure. The 2 guys working the truck, Lucas and Sam told me about their physical location in Baldwin which I’ll now have to make a trip too. They also mentioned they do a lot of private parties and catering and I can see why. If you love food trucks or just a damn good burger the No good burger truck is highly recommended!!!!!!!!“
“Their food is excellent, well seasoned and prepared with love. They have the best BBQ spareribs - a nice crust on the outside and juicy on the inside. You have to try their new Sausage Boat - wow. Not Just Lemonade Concession is our go to Caterer for all our events.“
“This is by far the best place to get halal food in College point; maybe all of Queens. And all of it is served from an unassuming cart infront of a gas station. For less than 10 dollars you could get high quality halal food freshly made and be extremely filling- I’ve gone days where that was my only meal before.“
“Pretty solid quality food and prepped just the way I like. Chicken is well seasoned but not over done, lamb is cut into fine pieces. Pita was nice and fresh. There are more options than the standard chicken and rice.It was my first time here so I hope the quality is consistent unlike most halal carts I frequent.“
“It was even better than I remembered it to be, last weekend I visited NY and this spot was the only place on my wish list. When I was living in NY, I used to eat from this location atleast once a week. The guy was very friendly and he got my order correct, he gave a generous portion all around. If you are a fan of Halal cart food, this is certainly the place to go.“
“My friends I was so hungry ? and it looked so delicious that I forgot to take pictures - this is definitely a spot I will be revisiting very soon. I ordered the nachos with chicken high five on the chicken seasoning so good… the pupusas de queso and queso con beans $3 each which at first I thought was a bit high but they are a pretty good size for $3 lots of filling and fresh Then we got Birria noodles with lime ? so delicious let me tell you if I get a hangover this would be my go to soup it had so much meat in it And the horchata was on point if your in the area do go visit I didn’t verify their hours however on google it says 3-10pm me and hubby went around 9pm and they were on the block google suggested. Great Food FlakoTaco hope to see more of you soon I’ll add pictures next time :)“
“Immaculately clean, very fair prices, and HUGE portions. Quality is better than the local Mexican restaurants. The hours are perfect for late nighters and for working folks who need a satisfying meal to start an early day. It's cash only. Really, really delicious food.“
“YOU HAVE TO TRY ZAHID’S HALAL FOOD!! The best halal food I have ever had. Juicy chicken and lamb with perfectly seasoned rice.. goes great with the white and hot sauce. The service was great, my food was prepared exactly to my likings. Food and service are incomparable to other halal spots. Don’t just take my word for it, try it yourself ;)“
“This little coffee truck is such a wonderful add to our community. Everything from the truck itself to little touches like a pay it forward board and cold brew growlers helps embrace the Long Beach vibe. The owners greet you with a smile and are always adding new things to the menu. As a self-proclaimed coffee connoisseur, they serve some of the best cold brew in town!“
“Nice Halal food in the area. They put a lot of meat and a decent side of salad however, as other reviewers have stated. They need to put more rice! They literally put three spoons of rice… (not kidding) other than that, everything else was good. Fast service and very tasty food. In addition, its very clean.“
