“The best wings I've ever had in my 60-plus years, the service at this fine establishment should be the standard for all establishments. Food, service, and always met with a big smile and kind greeting ! What more could anyone ask for?”

“Food was good. I had a chef salad that would have been really good but they chopped meat and cheese so fine you couldn't taste it and they didnt give me enough dressing.”

“🍦32° BELOW Ice Cream Shop – Van Etten, NY
If you’re chasing down the perfect scoop of homemade ice cream in upstate New York, make sure your journey leads you to 32° BELOW Ice Cream Shop in Van Etten. Tucked into a cozy corner of town, this family-run gem is more than just a dessert stop—it’s a slice of community spirit served in a cone.
What blew me away? The owners learned to make ice cream from YouTube tutorials. Yes, really. From late-night video binges to mastering the art of frozen delights, they’ve turned their passion into a local treasure. Every batch is handcrafted, with flavors like Mike’s Mint Chip, Nutella Crunch, and the decadent Chocolate Lover’s Dream. The menu sprawls across charming blackboards, offering cones, sundaes, soft serve, and even hot dogs and soup for those craving something savory.
Inside, the shop is a nostalgic treat—red chairs, striped curtains, and whimsical wall art that asks, “How many cherries are you?” But the magic doesn’t stop there. Grab your cup of chocolate ice cream and head across the street to the park, where you can enjoy it under the shade of towering trees.
Whether you’re a local or just passing through, 32° BELOW is a must-visit. Friendly faces, homemade goodness, and a story that proves passion can be learned—and shared—with a whole town. 🍨🌳
