“We ordered potato skins as an appetizer. There was a lot of potato, not enough bacon, and they weren't crisp. It was strange too, the potatoes were hot, but the cheese wasn't melted. It wasn't what I was expecting. Not bad, but not great. The wings I had were good, and the wait staff was very good.“
“Donnelly's is a classic Irish pub - friendly but low key, you can sit at the bar and chat or snag a table in the corner for privacy. The beer selection is excellent with a good rotation, and the food is also very good. This is my go-to place in Fairport!“

“Came from New Jersey for a 30th Surprise Birthday and The Rail did not disappoint! We were sat outside under the gazebo where food and drinks were served quickly as needed. There was a variety of appetizers including Wings, Fried Green Beans, Pretzel, and Mozz Sticks, which were all EXCELLENT; and a nice selection of yummy Beers to drink them down with. Jersey is tough competition for food and I actually considered ordering some Wings and Beans to take back for the road trip. Friendly Staff, Great Atmosphere, Excellent Food all wrapped up in a place I probably would've just driven by not even knowing ... Who knew?“
“My girlfriend and I went on a Friday at 2pm. It was super quiet. A few people at the bar loudly chatting with the bartender, which were definitely regulars. 3 other tables l sitting down to eat, ours wasn’t super clean but not a huge deal. We both got burgers, I got the Buffalo Bills Burger and she got the Breakfast Burger. I ordered mine medium and it was VERY well done and not that hot. I got sweet potato fries, also not hot. The food was pretty good overall but lacked a bit on execution. For almost $20 burgers, I just expected them to be hot and cooked correctly. A guy came from the back of the house went behind the bar to get himself a drink from the soda gun, and used his drink cup as an ice scoop.“
“I am in town every couple of years and always try to stop at Champps because it has always been great food and wonderful service. Last week when I was in, the food was just as good as I remember, and the server was above and beyond amazing! She was so friendly, and even though she was very busy, she made the time for everyone she was serving! I will definitely be back the next time I am in town!!!“
