Not only was the Nutella buttercream and vanilla cake that Carol made for us out of this world delicious, but her kindness and care made the whole experience even more special. Living in NYC, we’re spoiled with incredible bakeries and treats, but Calculated Confections is truly up there with the very best. Thank you, Carol, for your warmth, your artistry, and for creating such a spectacular and beautiful cake for Michael’s birthday!

I got cupcakes for a birthday party and they were delicious! Ordered 8 different flavors to try them and each one was as good as the others!! Thre cake was fresh and obviously handmade. The icing was smooth and creamy and not too sweet..perfect! Would definitely order from this bakery again! 5 stars for taste, quality, service and price!

All I can say is...yum! We booked Calculated Confections for our wedding. What sold us is when we came in for a taste test. Everything we sampled was delicious! It was so hard to choose what we wanted in the cake! She worked with us to have our cake turn out exactly how we envisioned. We were able to customize what flavors we wanted and even have the top tier (the tier we're saving for our first anniversary) be a different flavor/flavor combo from the other tiers.
Everyone at the wedding commented how delicious the cake was and were requesting slices to take home. She was able to deliver the cake to the wedding venue, which happened on time and without incident. All in all, I would recommend Calculated Confections. The price is fair, but most importantly, the confections are delicious!

We ordered a wedding cake for my daughter and now son-in-law from Calculated Confections and needed it to be gluten free (with no cross-contamination) and vegan. My daughter also wanted it to be lemon flavored with a blueberry filling. Khadija delivered an absolutely delicious and beautiful wedding cake exactly as my daughter wanted! We received SO many compliments and all of our GF family and friends, and those who are Vegan/dairy free, were thrilled they could not only enjoy the cake but also with how delicious it was! And our non-GF guests loved it as well! Khadija and her father made the whole process so much fun and she was so wonderful to work with - we couldn’t have been happier with our selection can’t thank them enough!!

We got a white cake with strawberry filling from Calculated Confections for our small (10-person) wedding and it was perfect! Not only did it look exactly as I had hoped, it was delicious too! Multiple people at the wedding commented that it was the most moist and delicious cake they had ever had. We even took what little was left and ate it on our honeymoon in Montauk. We ordered a last minute gender reveal cake, Calculated Confections was accommodating and had the order ready in a timely fashion even though we were so last minute in planning! Same day cake that was so light and fluffy and not overly sweet. We also have a family member with celiac disease and were able to purchase gluten free cupcakes filled with the same color as our cake so they didn’t feel left out.

First of all the staff is super friendly and helpful. They even wrote our cake message in Spanish. We ordered a carrot cake, chocolate cupcakes, and vanilla cupcakes. Everything was fresh, moist, and not overly sweet. Simply delicious. Top quality ingredients were used for sure. We highly recommend this location and we will definitely come back. Thank you!

We walked in, showed a picture for inspiration and it came out even better than what we imagined! Our guests couldn’t stop raving over the picture perfect look and the taste! Not every wedding cake comes out with such amazing raves from guests, but ours couldn’t stop!! We can’t wait to open our top piece we saved for our one year anniversary and dig back in, lol!!
