Just delicious. Southern food with a West Indies influence. Had the curry chicken. Four perfectly cooked drumsticks in gravy. I like my drumsticks firm and well done and these were amazing. Kind of like duck confit. Side of coleslaw was outstanding as were the AWESOME COLLARD GREENS that had a bit of a kick. Tender but not mushy and fantastic. I am temporarily staying in Walden, NY for a travel nurse contract and I am from the south. I saw this restaurant and decided I needed a taste from home. The fried okra was the best out of our whole order! I see the other reviews and they’re pretty rough. No it’s not the best ever southern food but let me tell you it’s definitely not as bad as it’s made out to be. I’d order from them again for sure. Recommend the okra and chicken sandwich 100%! The prices are very reasonable...
