The food is EXCELLENT. The fish is always so fresh and everything tastes amazing. I can't speak on the service in the restaurant, as I usually place deliveries. The delivery driver is BEYOND rude. He BANGS on my door and claims I live 10 miles away when I live 3.5 miles away and its a 9 minute drive. The bag always stinks of cigarette smoke which is incredibly unappetizing. I gave him a tip one time and he ridiculed me because it wasn't as much as he wanted. Very rude. My overall rating is low because this makes me not want to order or sit at their restaurant.

excellent, delicious, fresh sushi!! and for a great price too! lunch special was 2 rolls for $11 and 3 rolls for $14…can’t beat those prices! came with miso soup as well. will definitely be returning!

Honestly I haven't had sushi this fresh and high quality in a long time. Even the mango was perfectly ripe (which is hit or miss at most restaurants). The salad greens were fresh and not wilted . I was impressed and will definitely go back.

Have eaten here 3 times in 2024. Went today for lunch on a Friday and it was so good - I had to leave a review. For reference- we always dine-in on a Friday or Saturday. Have tried many other sushi places in Garden City, Bellmore, Merrick, Wantagh and this is hands down the very best that we have tried. Quality of the fish and a very clean establishment are top of my list and Mizuno meets both requirements.Calm, welcoming atmosphere and you are able to see the chefs preparing the food.Had kani salad, avocado salad (fresh avocado and crunchy lettuce - absolutely nothing but fresh fresh fresh), spicy crunchy tuna roll (tuna was as light as air and zero “fishy” taste- again as fresh as can be) and a California roll topped with sliced fish and tobiko. We also had an out of control roll which is our ‘go to’ roll- delicious.Our server was very attentive and we never waited more than a few minutes for anything.As long as this establishment maintains its high standards- we will be customers of Mizuno and nowhere else for sushi.
