Nonnina's Reviews
Nonnina’s is a non-pretentious, casual atmosphere, upscale Italian cuisine restaurant. Great for date night (casual) or gathering of friends, but you can also meet up at the bar.
The food is top notch, the staff (across the board - wait staff, bartenders, chefs) are excellent and work well together. They specifically ask if you have food allergies and they have gluten-free options.

Incredible food in the Village of Wappingers with also provides a non-pretentious, home like environment. Very happy for this much needed, new addition to the village. Not to sound cliche but, "Run, don’t walk to this place!"

Nonnina's is a cozy and welcoming restaurant in Wappingers Falls that offers upscale Italian cuisine in a non-pretentious, casual atmosphere. The decor is thoughtfully designed to create a comfortable neighborhood vibe, making it a great spot for date nights or small gatherings with friends, especially for adults. The restaurant features a separate bar area that does not interfere with the dining space, providing an excellent environment whether dining at a table or at the bar.
The food at Nonnina's is of high quality, made with fresh ingredients, and features simple Italian recipes prepared well. Popular dishes include pasta, with the Pappardelle being homemade and flavorful, and appetizers like Grandma's Croquette's and the Cougar flatbread. Mains such as the Kale Caesar are fresh and well-prepared, though some dishes, like the Boar, may be slightly overpowered by sauce or other components. Desserts include a cannoli trio, which is enjoyable but not entirely authentic Italian, and reflects a more creative but less traditional approach to desserts.
The staff is attentive, friendly, and works well together, asking about food allergies and offering gluten-free options. Service is generally quick and friendly, with staff checking in regularly. The atmosphere is clean, calm, and inviting, making it suitable for small parties or romantic dinners. While the restaurant is still gaining experience, the quality and atmosphere make Nonnina's a highly recommended addition to the village. Reservations are advised due to its popularity, and parking options include some dedicated spots and street parking. Overall, Nonnina's is a great spot for those seeking a creative, elevated Italian dining experience in a relaxed setting.
