Jerk Chicken and Oxtail are my favorites, but EVERYTHING is authentic, well prepared, and delicious.

About 1 pm, I ordered online for a 3:30 pm pickup, and my credit card was charged.

I got a text reminder to pick up my order, and when I arrived the place was locked up tight and I couldn't connect a call to the phone number on the door.

Fortunately, I was headed into Watertown and delicious food from Tropicx Jamaican, ready 25 minutes after I placed my order online, was only an additional 10 minutes detour.

I've disputed the charge through my credit card company.

Website and Google both shaping open till 5pm on Sunday, pleased order at 4:20 pm for pickup, arrive at location and not a soul in site, no cars in parking lot. No hours posted on building, no lights on in restaurant, no way to contact, no phone number online. Was looking forward to eating here, comes highly recommended, but frankly a bit dissapointed.

Really nice people that work here. The food was excellent. Random spot to find a good Jamaican spot you wouldn’t think it but they got really good stuff. Come !

First time here and WOW! Everything was honestly awesome. I got the oxtail for my main meal and it was honestly amazing. For such a small place they sure do pack a flavor punch! Service was EXCELLENT! Stephen ((I believe?) helped me and walked me though the entire menu, have honest opinions, and helped me pick something I thoroughly enjoyed (even down to the drink). I WILL be back! This area is incredibly lucky to have Jamaican food like this. Authentic, homemade, and flavorful.

Some of the better tasting food in the Watertown / Fort Drum area. Do not expect fast food service, it's a Jamaican place after all, so chill and enjoy the vibes for food that is cooked low and SLOW.

Ordered a side jerk chicken, side goat curry, and side mac and cheese. Would place them in the same order for how they tasted. Chicken was wonderfully brined, deep flavor on the skin, and tender. Goat was fall of the bone tender and incredible curry flavor from sauce, but had difficulty marrying the two...perhaps not having a starch to soak it all up is on me. Mac and cheese was exceptionally average, probably will never get again.

Would have given 5 stars but for the three sides I ordered it cost me $30 to eat for lunch out. Bit pricey given circumstances of distance, expectation management on service, and certainty of menu options availability on given day. If prices were lower, I would make a weekly visit. Given current prices it's more like once every couple of months.

Stopped here for dinner to break up a long drive. It's more of a take-out place, but has a few tables. The food was EXCELLENT! Very fresh, extremely flavourful, huge portions. We tried the ox tail (this was the favourite), the jerk chicken, and the chicken stew. The kids gave rave reviews. The service was very friendly and quick.

This little gem right here located not in a rural area gives it an even better feel nestled within a log cabin establishment… Working and traveling out of town and stopped here after trying another Jamaican food spot and this one by far is the best in the area hands down… Excellent food and excellent service… Steve is the man does his thing with the food here… Highly recommended as I been back three times and never disappointed…

10/10 I would come again. Got the ox tail and it did not disappoint. It wasn't any little meager pieces either, nice full size oxtail. Plenty vice and cabbage to go with it. Go and go often!
