The crossroads diner is the kind of old school diner I grew up with. Nice ladies make you feel welcome. Food is homemade and tasty. Soups are home made daily. I had a ham and cabbage soup there that was perfect. I wonder if they take requests? Hungarian Mushroom soup sounds good.
We brought our family of 5 to Crossroads Diner for breakfast. Overall, the food was good—we all ordered the eggs with a choice of meat and added a pancake, and everyone left completely full.
Service and speed could definitely use some improvement. The waitress was quite blunt without much reason to be, especially considering it wasn't very busy at the time.
