“If cocktail magic had a home address, it would be The Craft 836, where the bartender wasn’t just a drink-slinger—oh no—this professional mixology wizard seemed to craft beverages with the finesse of someone who may or may not have trained with celestial beings. Every glass that left the bar glowed with the promise of happiness, good decisions, and possibly better posture. And then… the Craft and Jamaican dry rub chicken wings. Scrumptious doesn’t even begin to describe them. These wings strutted onto the table like they knew they were the star of the show—juicy, spicy, and seasoned so perfectly you’d swear they had their own PR team. Meanwhile, everything coming out of the kitchen looked so jaw-droppingly delicious it made me question every life choice that led me to not ordering that, that, and definitely that. Even the ordering app was a delight. A simple QR scan and—voilà!—this sixty-something woman was tapping, selecting, and paying with the grace of a digital native. No confusion. No panic. No accidentally ordering seventeen sides of fries. (Though honestly, that might not have been the worst fate.) Kudos to the staff and management—this place runs like a well–garlic-oiled machine: smooth, flavorful, and leaving you wanting more. Five stars, a happy belly, and a newfound confidence in QR codes. “Second time in 2 days eating here. So good yesterday that I came back again. Yesterday had veal parm, a well made salad w/ lots of lettuce, onions, purple cabbage, tomatoes, shaved carrots (a real, full salad) and dinner rolls all for under $20 (I always drink water w/ lemon). Today had the prime rib special (everyTHUR), salad, and rolls all for $24+ change. Prime rib was cooked perfectly, rare just as I Iike it. If you go anywhere near Watertown, you need to visit Fairgroud Inn. Great serice, very pleasant staff, always excellent vittles! Plenty of parking and a bar w/ spirits. I was seated quickly because I chose to sit in the bar area.“

“Can confirm what other reviews say and the cucumber kimchi is delicious. The regular cabbage kimchi is also quite good and the Ramen was delicious and filling. The inside decor has definitely been upgraded as well.

“Art's Jug has been has been one of Watertown New York's go to spots for dining for at least 50 years. Eat in or take out the food is always above par. One of their famous dishes is the anti pasta salad, you will see one on almost every table when you enter the establishment. They specialize in Italian dishes. Sit down, order up and enjoy, you will not be disappointed!“

“The crossroads diner is the kind of old school diner I grew up with. Nice ladies make you feel welcome. Food is homemade and tasty. Soups are home made daily. I had a ham and cabbage soup there that was perfect. I wonder if they take requests? Hungarian Mushroom soup sounds good.“

“We had a birthday party at Garland and it went perfectly! The food was so good and the service was amazing. We highly recommend this business whether you’re planning an event or just want to stop someplace for a drink and something to eat. The event coordinator Steph was a pleasure to coordinate with and quick to respond! Everyone from the wait staff to the owners will make you feel welcome and take fantastic care of you!“

“We came to longhorn with a toddler who was teething, and quickly after ordering our food realized we would need to cut our dinner short. We asked our waiter to make the order a to go order, and he said he totally understood and would have it out as quickly as possible. The manager, Kim came over to our table and asked if there was anything she could get for us. She told us she is a mom of multiple kids herself, and can completely sympathize. She was kind, reassuring, and insistent that she wanted to do anything she could to help. She ended up bringing out a cup of ice cream for our daughter while we waited, and was so sweet to her. The customer service here was beyond top notch!!!!“

We asked to eat there and they brought the food on the tray. They do a huge business on carry out (both from call in and apps) so locals like it.“

We did not notice until we were at home two hours away that we were accidentally charged for a bottle of wine instead of a glass. Due to the distance, we did not notify the brewery. Two days later, my boyfriend was not only compensated for the difference, he was also refunded part of the tip. This brewery not only has delicious food, but also integrity.
