Yesterday had veal parm, a well made salad w/ lots of lettuce, onions, purple cabbage, tomatoes, shaved carrots (a real, full salad) and dinner rolls all for under $20 (I always drink water w/ lemon). Today had the prime rib special (everyTHUR), salad, and rolls all for $24+ change. Prime rib was cooked perfectly, rare just as I Iike it. If you go anywhere near Watertown, you need to visit Fairgroud Inn. Great serice, very pleasant staff, always excellent vittles! Plenty of parking and a bar w/ spirits. I was seated quickly because I chose to sit in the bar area.“

“Art's Jug has been has been one of Watertown New York's go to spots for dining for at least 50 years. Eat in or take out the food is always above par. One of their famous dishes is the anti pasta salad, you will see one on almost every table when you enter the establishment. They specialize in Italian dishes. Sit down, order up and enjoy, you will not be disappointed!“
