Waterville China King’s pork chow mein tonight was yummy. Same with their chicken with mixed vegetables and also the pork fried rice that we ordered on another night. Fast and friendly, too. Glad for a good successor to Johnny’s China Cafe.
10/10!! We ordered for the first time and everything came out perfect! Can’t wait to order again!!!

The restaurant China King offers good Chinese food with fresh flavorful. Some order plain lo mein, orange chicken, hot and sour soup and chicken wings. The seasoning on everything was good, particularly the orange chicken with bits of orange peel. The broccoli was crisp and the batter on the wings was flavorful. The noodles were not rancid and the oil did not taste bad. Some find the hot and sour soup not sour and too claggy with tomato sauce, cabbage and carrots. The shrimp Mei fun was extraordinary and the pork chow mein was yummy. Chicken with mixed vegetables and pork fried rice were also tastier and fast. The staff were polite, helpful and work hard. Service was fast and friendly, and orders were right on the phone. Free items such as cans of soda or pork fried rice offers when the threshold was met. Spring rolls, egg rolls and ribs were tender, sweet and salty. The food was good and keep coming back.
