About Anchor Inn Tiki Bar

The Anchor Inn Tiki Bar is a casual place on Seneca Lake in the finger lakes, NY. Guests have stayed in rooms and cottages that are private, very clean, and very cozy. The rooms are comfortable, with a good sized refrigerator, excellent A/C, and a gorgeous view of Seneca Lake from a spacious, shared terrace or a nice porch. The staff are SUPER friendly and accommodating, and check-in was easy. The Tiki Bar below is a blast and directly on the lake, with good prices for drinks. The location is perfect for wineries, close to Watkins Glen, only a few minute drive from the falls and town, and a quick 3-minute drive to the heart of Watkins Glen. Guests rented a boat across the street, which was a nice experience. The few negatives are that the walls between rooms are thin, lighting in the room is very dim, there are JUST enough parking spots, the driveway onto the property is scarily steep, there are about 70 steps down to the lake, and the breakfast is minimal. The family who runs the Anchor Inn couldn't have been more accommodating, and guests would definitely return.

We 3 sisters just came back from a 4 day stay here. It was perfect for our needs: large room, large bathroom, good sized refrigerator, SUPER friendly & accommodating staff (Coral & all!), good location on a basically quiet road (except for when the 18-wheelers zoom by all day-into-night en route to & from the U.S. Salt plant at the end of the street), good location to town, great view of the lake, bar height chairs on the shared balcony to enjoy the sunrise, birds on the lake...read full review
We celebrated my husband's 81st birthday by spending 3 days on Seneca Lake in the finger lakes, NY. The Anchor Inn is quite dated, small and has an amazingly steep driveway to reach the small strip of rooms. We had 2 nights in one room and because of a late decision to add another night we had to change rooms. The family who runs the Anchor Inn couldn't have been more accommodating. The view from our room of the lake was incredible. The room was comfortable except for a lack of...read full review
