“Maybe we were overhyped. Everything I heard and read said this place was legendary. But the menu was limited: beef on Weck and buffalo wings... or if you want a pizza, you can get the same options but on a crust with cheese. Otherwise, fairly standard sports bar apps.
The inside seemed too dark for a lunch, and the 'outside' area with lots of snow was crowded. Service was polite, but slow for such a small menu. We're told the place always gets a wait by noon and yet it takes 25 minutes to get your food even with so few options for entrees seems uncalculated and unnecessarily slow.
Food was good, but I'd say I've had equal quality wings and sauce at a bit fairer price. And the beef on weck seemed on par with Charlie the butcher, but comes with a handful of chips, not fries, at $15 for just the sandwich? I couldn't go 5 stars. Cost of business, I suppose

“Our waitress tonight was Bridget she was very attentive and excellent in all she did for us. Very friendly and cheerful. The food was amazing steak better than Outback Longhorn Texas Roadhouse and I might add Ruth Chris. Also there Friday unfortunately forgot our girls name. Treated us amazing also. Had a reuben and beef on weck. Best we ever had. There are no slackers at that restaurant! Kudos to them for a wonderful staff and food! Can’t wait to go back. Unfortunately we are 3 hours away in Pennsylvania but well worth the trip!“

“Easily the best wing spot in Buffalo. The wings are always perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the blue cheese is sweeter than most but not as sweet as rooties. Classic location with the option to take your food to go, and grab a beer from brew works before sitting down at one of the picnic tables outside. Can't go wrong with Bar-“

“let me tell you...the fish dinner !!! omg ...besides so big it doesnt fit in the container!! Seasoned to perfection...and fresh!! The potato salad was so delcious. the veggies where still crispy!!! Best greens around...and that mac...no where else!!! lets just say my husband would like to kidnap the cook!!!“

“Took my grandson for pizza and boneless wings with fries tonight. All the food was perfect! Pizza was regular sauce ( I had the half sweet & half regular in the past and I thought it was still too sweet for me). Rachel, our server was awesome! We are definitely going back in the near future!“

“The whole experience was terrible. Food was good but that’s it. A 1.5 wait to get food is just crazy. It was extremely cold as if the heat didn't work. Way under staffed, and had a party going with only one cool at 2 servers for the whole place. Came up from KY to watch Buffalo and was not even impressed. Don't even have sweet tea. “The food and service was good. Be aware! The prices on the menu are different from what they charge you. My meal in the menu was $18.99. I was charged $23.99 for shrimp scampi and much smaller portion from past order. Fish fry was listed as $15.99 was charged 21.99. They need to let you know the prices are higher than what is listed in their menu. ?‍♀️“

“Great pizza, great sauce, great dough. Probably the most expensive pizza in the entire area, but it's really good. If you're on a budget it's probably not for you, if you don't worry about money, this is definitely the place for you.“

“Awesome food every time. Not just the pizza, all of it is delicious and prepared perfectly. Fair prices, as much as can be expected these days. Nice people, always happy and quick to take care of you. Clean bathroom with hot water and good soap and paper towel dispensers. What more can you ask for?“
