“Wednesday morning, forgot my lunch, staring down a long, stressful day at work. I stepped out thinking I’d just grab something quick. Googled a few spots and came across Pizza Block.

Walked in, and the place was beautiful. Spacious, welcoming, super friendly staff. And the pizza? Unbelievable. I grabbed two slices at a great price, and they were the best slices I’ve ever had!

I went back to work in a completely different mood, literally singing through the rest of my day. Not exaggerating when I say it turned my whole day around.

Highly recommend Pizza Block. You won’t regret it.“

“One of my favorite halal spots in queens. Food and service is impeccable. Even though I got a salad platter they still threw in some rice so you won’t go hungry. Chicken and lamb are amazing. Perfect amount of char and still tender. They also usually give out a free sample of falafel which is cooked and seasoned perfectly. They also cook it in an oval shape so it’s a bit more crispy as opposed to the circle ones. Must try and always get extra white sauce and hot sauce. Food is hot, fresh and comes out quickly“

“it was amazing!! The proportions of the chicken and rice were in large amounts. The chicken was cooked well and the rice was soft. The salad on the side was very fresh. Overall I recommend this place for kids and adults. The spice levels canbe altered by asking for little hot sauce and more white sauce. The price is affordable and it is ready in less than 10 minutes.“

I have send a review for the restaurant Greekville. The name says it all. Nice to know there is a great spot to get Greek take out , and this is one of the best. The food is fresh and delicious and they give you large portions , From the chicken gyro to the spanakopita ( spinach pie). The soups lentil and chicken lemon (avgolemono )are good as well .“

“Thanks so much for your chicken.Its delicious.You'll note the small things here simple brown chairs white tables but plenty to choose from on the menu.Its a taste of halal meets kfc.Home is where the heart is and its delightful to eat here at extremely late hours.Food.Companionship from the local hood.There are chickens in the closet.Aint nothing like chicken here eat it up and enjoy the finer tastings in life.And be happy.Be tasteful and eat loudly.I wasnt high enough to pass out but the track playing told me it should be.“

“I love NYC chicken over rice but the thought of the street trucks often make me feel sick. So I was thrilled to find a spot in Glen Cove that hits! The staff is so welcoming the minute you enter. Highly recommend if you want that authentic street flavor with clean environment.“

“They constantly run a promotion 2 pies with toppings and get 1 regular pie free. Pizza is good but it's not the greatest. Great service staff and the atmosphere, I would describe it as your normal pizza spot with simple seating. You eat your pizza and leave. I will say that your pizza is always fresh, very rare that you will find slices waiting to be warmed up. That's a huge plus for me.“

“Favorite Halal food truck so far… I have yet to find one that I like more. The food is seasoned very well which immediately stood out to me as I took my first bite. Food quality is best during the day. Their falafel style is different from what I have tasted anywhere else- it is much better. Wait time is long, which is understandable as this truck is popular. Sometimes you can see the stress on the guys face, please be kind and say hello, please and thank you. Some customers have no manners.“
