“We tried Taco Island Mexican Cantina in Mount Sinai for the first time tonight. We ordered the Fish Taco, Avacado Taco, Chicken Bacon Ranch Burrito, chips with homemade guac, and lastly the Pizza De Birria. The food was outstanding!! Honestly, it was some of the best Authentic Mexican food we have ever had. (Even our picky kids loved it) The employees were also super nice and brought us chips and sauces while we waited. After we ate they also brought us to go containers and a bag with a smile. 10 out of 10. Will return soon.”

The pick up service was quick and painless, which I like especially when your trying to catch your train. I loved a good quality salad and this place did not disappoint, definitely recommend the Mexican Cesar Salad for sure but I will be going back to try the others.”

“Yes!, but I have been there a few times all have been great but this last time. The food was salty. I mean every dish. We spoke to manager who was extremely nice. Apologize and did the right thing. But I will go back for sure”

“The food was fresh, flavorful, and a great healthy option. Everything tasted well-seasoned and made with quality ingredients. The customer service was warm and welcoming, and the space itself was very clean and spacious, which made the experience even better. They also have a cute outdoor seating area that would be perfect for enjoying a meal during the summertime. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’ll definitely be back to try more from their menu!”

“Sunflower Cafe in Bayport is excellent! The food is absolutely delicious-freshly prepared meals from scratch. The atmosphere is warm and the service was wonderful. I had the pleasure of meeting Stace-the owner-and her daughter. Her son makes all the desserts! Family-run cafe-fabulous food-Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald playing in the background. Doesn’t get better! I highly recommend the salmon, chicken, beef bourguignon, pasta, all the desserts, delicious bread, soups etc. I will certainly be going back…..thank you!”

“The servers were excellent from the moment we arrived. Cocktails were perfect. We shared the tuna carpaccio which was an excellent combination of flavors... so we looked forward to to the entree... I ordered halibut, ( my favorite) but it was served on a celery root purée which sadly had very little flavor, so while the fish was cooked perfectly, the dish lacked pizzazz. My husband ordered the duck which did have a nice combination of flavors. I wanted to offer a better score but the halibut was just bla.”

“How many times have I passed this place without knowing what an absolute hidden gem this place is. Authentic, gorgeous dishes. The length they go to to serve, in such a way that the dishes are beautiful when brought to the table. Hands down best Asian fusion restaurant I have been to in a long time.
