Stopped in here a couple years back while I was headed out for a bear hunt. It’s the kind of country bar you hope to find—laid-back, wood-worn, with locals who don’t mind a stranger pulling up a stool. Service was quick and the folks behind the bar treated me right. The regulars were friendly too, the sort that make you feel like you’ve been around longer than a single visit.

Only shame is the thought of this spot eventually getting swallowed up by cityits....

Coolest place I've ever been to. You think it's not open upon driving up to the back. Go inside and see the bar isn't anything like the outside of the house . COOLEST

Chet I don’t know you nor have I ever been to your place. But I own Snyder’s Tavern in Glen Rose Texas which is in a historic property built in 1919. Scott our bartender, who grew up in central New York (Mohawk Valley) makes the best old fashions too and I just want to invite you and pappy to visit us sometime so we can tell stories!!!
