“This is not your average old school Hudson valley ice cream shop. They take care of you like they are, but they have a modern looking building and menu and great customer service. I’m on a keto diet so I got a burger and hot dog without buns. They might not look enticing from the pictures but they were great and fit right into my diet.Dietary restrictions: They accommodated my keto requests no problem. They even wrapped my burger in lettuce for me.”

“Dropped in for a quick dinner while we’re in town for the weekend and we loved it! Plenty of seating, quick and courteous service, delicious food, and fair pricing. We tried two of their specials and a large tomato garlic basil pizza (added red sauce). Definitely recommend going if in the area!”

“We were just in for the weekend but ended up having dinner there on Friday and breakfast on both Saturday and Sunday. The food was very good! We also had a delicious lemon cocktail on Friday that was fantastic! Nice views, the wait staff was friendly, the portions were a nice size and the food was delicious! We definitely plan to return!”

“Let me start out by saying that 5 stars is not enough for this place, Diana and Pete are amazing people with such a welcoming aura to them. This was my first time here, and they made me feel like I was a regular and it made me feel very at home. Not to mention the food was to die for, some of the best pizza I have ever had to date. Drinks are amazing might I add, they have amazing tap beers, wine and cider. They also offer lodging in the inn, and in the summer months offer glamping, will 100% be back to try more food!”

The exterior and interior were so aesthetic - rusty modern is how I'd describe it. I got a few things to try here and everything was delicious. “Went here on Sunday for drinks before dinner and was really impressed by the bartender (I think her name was Stephanie?) and the drinks she made. The bramble was one of the best cocktails I've ever had - very unique taste, and the garden gimlet was also fantastic. Everyone enjoyed their cocktails and cider. Two complaints would be about the bathroom situation (the toilet paper hadn't been replenished in the portapotties and the bathroom in the bar area was out of service). Other would just be a need for more seating.”

“I am rating ming moon based on the quality of their beef and broccoli, which I have ordered well over 100 times over the span of several years. It is simply the best beef and broccoli I have ever had. As an enthusiast of the dish I make it a point to order it at every American Chinese restaurant I have ever been to for quality testing purposes (my sample size spans multiple states and both coasts). I have also made it myself a number of times. Ming Moon avoids the most common pitfalls of watery sauce and overcooked broccoli. Their recipe and execution are flawless. Thick rich sauce, perfectly cooked broccoli and beef. If they ever close I will consider it a personal tragedy.”

“The staff make this chain a better stop than most. They are kind and friendly to kids, and the rest of us too but wow. Really nice and accommodating to kids. I saw 2 kids under 10 get service and help from 3 people who gave them the experience of being important customers and treated as though they were any other customer with kindness and respect as though they were an adult. It was refreshing to see good people give kids a chance to be "normal" and yet treated well.It may seem small, but it made me happy.”

“Excellent special occasion restaurant in a historic environment! The ambiance is cozy and romantic, the service is kind and attentive, and the food is seasonal and delicious. Upscale “farmhouse cooking” where every ingredient feels local and intentionally included. The menu changes frequently, so don’t expect the same thing each time. However, some of our favorites such as the trout rillettes and shishito peppers are available year round.”

I was always a regular through its previous ownership and while it definitely never disappointed me before- I think the new chef and management are upping the ante a bit. I'm not sure what's happening for the recent bad reviews- to me its improved. I did change up what I order now as the "old favorites" do taste a bit different now, but now I have new favorites that I like even more. I find them always friendly and smiling and they're putting a bit more work into the atmosphere of the place. While I do occasionally miss the previous owner / management, just b/c she had become so familiar to me, I have to say that I'm also very happy with the new vibe and slightly different flavors.”

SOUTH Brooklyn, not the wannabe people "from Brooklyn" that live in dumbo or williamsburg whom are from the midwest. This is definitely Mafiosi-approved , real-deal, thin crust and everything proportioned CORRECTLY! best pizza anywhere north of Bensonhurst. For the people that don't like this pizza, you don't know what good pizza is. Pizza isn't supposed to be overly seasoned. Go back to san francisco or the midwest and get a frozen pizza, dummies . This place ROCKS !”
