Very NICE restaurant our waiter was excellent recommend shrimp dinner we really enjoyed it!!!

The quality of service and food went down. It used to be one of our go to places but not after our last visit. It is too expensive for the lack of quality now.

I love City Cellar and have been coming here for a number of years. This is the first time I've felt compelled to leave a review because I was so impressed with the bartender, Shannon. She was friendly, attentive, and provided outstanding service. She's a fantastic addition to your team—don't lose her!

Do not go here, do not eat here, nothing. The food is horrible and the service is even worse. I should’ve read the reviews before ordering from them. Idk how they’re still open with so many recent bad reviews. What a shame.

The servers were nice but kept getting our orders mixed up . My food arrived an hour later than everyone else so I had to take it to go . The server spoke to the manager who neither offered an apology or any compensation . We were celebrating our nieces graduation so it left a very bad impression on all of us. They did not value our business so they are not worth recommending .

we waited two hours to get our food and not one person at my table liked their meal. the people at the table behind me had to move because the ceiling was leaking on them. the place is way too overpriced for the food to not even be good.

Weekend warm up special appetizers are amazing Friday nights with a live DJ.. I lOVE THiS PLACE!!!

City Cellar never disappoints. The food is consistently excellent (the short ribs!!!!!) and the ambiance rivals any upscale Manhattan restaurant. The bar menu is extensive and the waitstaff is efficient, professional, and friendly.

Had the steakhouse burger and the short rib French onion soup, and both were fantastic. The burger was exactly what you want from a steakhouse burger it was juicy, packed with flavor, topped with crispy bacon, and served on a soft brioche bun that held everything together perfectly. The fries were hot, crispy, and impossible to stop eating. The real surprise for me was the short rib French onion soup. The broth was rich and full of flavor, the melted cheese was perfectly browned, and the addition of the short rib took it to another level. It was hearty, comforting, and honestly one of the best French onion soups I've had. Great food, generous portions, and a meal that left me already thinking about what I'll order next time. Can't wait to come back. Highly recommend.

A very pleasing experience which we certainly intend to repeat, although we haven't been in many years, even though we knew we enjoyed it back then!

I really did not want to write this review but it has been weighing heavy on me since my last visit. I have been coming here for several years and I will say consistency is always a lacking issue but besides that the food is always great in my opinion just slightly different every time. The issue I have EVERYTIME I am there is the main desk. It does not matter what day or time I come whoever is there which is always different people are rude and unwelcoming. It is almost as if it is a bother that you are walking into the place. The woman is by far the worst so rude! I was there last weekend and the food and service was good as it usually is. The drinks were ok but took FOREVER the server even apologized about it. The worst part was that what I am assuming is the manager because he was in a suit was chatting with the bartender which I had a clear view of the bar from my table. Instead of chatting maybe let the bartender make the drinks instead of leaving customers waiting. He was also at the main desk when I left and did not even acknowledge us leaving.
I really do love the food here and the servers are very friendly It is just really discouraging coming and leaving the place when everyone who stands there is so cold and rude.
I hope with writing this the right person sees this and makes some changes. I will be back for now but if this keeps up I will stop going. Please be nicer! It cost nothing to be kind!
