Nice little cozy place, but not the Maria's bakery we remember growing up with. However, still a nice little shop, lots of new and exciting additions which a makes this Pastry Shop special in its own way. We walked in just before closing and understandably notice some empty spots in the display cases. The server was very friendly and helpful with our selections... The rainbow cookies were stale(it can be scene in the pic how dry) and should not be for sale, the carrot cake...
I came in to get a sandwich and was shocked at the price, no prices on the menu or posted anywhere, reading the description of the sandwich I thought house special bread meant like a baguette or long roll, nope. Sandwich is not worth $15 and it was very wet, not really flavorful and no chips, fruit or dessert to warrant the high price. Last time I'm going there. I ordered #5.
Very nice, clean, and spacious pastry shop and cafe. Various options of desserts, pastries, cakes, cookies, etc. Wish they would have alternative milk options for the coffee drinks. Service was good. Metered parking in front of the store, on the streets, and in nearby parking lot.
