When my sister and I, who are brown, walked in, we were blatantly ignored for several minutes. The guy behind the counter didnt even greet us even though the place was nearly empty. when a white group of people walk in 10 minutes later, the guy behind the counter immediately went to them and asked if they were waiting long. so blatantly racist

The service when I was there was top notch.. and it was late. The tea/coffee/cocktail selection was great... with many NOLA inspired offerings. The family recipe Gumbo was fantastic. I didn't try any other food options, but i overheard that it was great. The setup is cozy and eclectic. It's just a small family owned spot with a decent variety of drinks, snacks, desserts and food. Pricing is really good. A full meal of very high quality gumbo was 12 bucks.....

Love this hidden gem on Post Ave. Great decor to enjoy a meal, icecream or adult beverage by friendly staff! I stopped in today for some fresh baked goods and a Cold brew coffee to wake things up! Check it out! Lou

Normally I don’t like to give 1 star reviews. Especially not to a small business. But this place was disgusting. Dusty chairs left a layer of dirty on my friends black plants, there were cobwebs under the table - tables also dusty. There was a bug on the table crawling towards us. Syrup dispenser was sticky and the spout was crusty. I’m regretting eating this food. I feel like I put something gross in my body.

Also my ice cream tasted like freezer burn.

Got the ice cream flight. Pecan, blueberry cheesecake, peach, and coconut. It was so good! I want to come back and try their sundaes

I have been to the shop 3 times this week. The cold brew hits different and has no acidity (I drink it black). waygu burger cooked to a perfect medium with crispy sweet potato fries. I actually participated in Trivia Night Wednesdays and had a blast. check them out :)

The large man at the counter was rude to us from the second we walked in. Maybe because we had a dog or because we are Hispanic and we’re speaking Spanish amongst ourselves. He was annoyed at simple requests like an extra cup or a specific amount of pumps in the coffee. Very strange behavior. Would not come back. Also fake Horchata

I went there last Sunday afternoon with my family and I had a wonderful time. The food was great and our sever (blonde younger girl) was very kind and welcoming. The ice cream sundaes are a 10/10.

I wanted to come here with some friends but it appears the owner is unhinged. Making fun of people on Facebook from your business who do not agree with your views only spreads more hate and creates further distance. I will not support businesses that behave in such a matter. Ice cream shops shouldn't be bullying people on their appearances.
