This place has gone downhill. Ordered a Tuna avocado salad Which I was charged a extra dollar for an avocado and I got 4 thin slices. Unbelievable it looked like it came out of a can. Very fishy I couldn't even eat it. And a Roll which was also out of a can it had a Bad taste and was crunchy which was disgusting. Both items so so so bad I left them The owners son made the sushi and he was not friendly. The salad was $18 and it was mostly salad and a scoop of canned fish. Like Cat Food!! The place was run down and there was no customers on a Friday night and the phone never rang and not even a take out order. If I could give them less than a star I would. Don't waste your time or money like I did. trust me. They should close the store they are only open 2.5 hours a couple nights and they need to revamp the place get a sushi chef and fresh food. I also saw a roll picture on the reviews and I asked the waitress and she said. Oh Chef Louie made a different roll all the time but that was 5 years ago. Well it was good years ago but not now

We met with friends at this spot for a meeting. we heard about this spot from many people. Well, it was a winning. The staff welcomed us with a smile and we felt fantastic. The meal was tasty. We enjoyed every moment and we will definitely return to this restaurant. We recommend this place to all.

The crazy ninja roll and yakiniku are to die for. You cannot find anything like the crazy ninja roll anywhere else. I think it's spicy crab and spicy tuna and crunchies but I'm not too sure exactly what goes in it. Amazing local business and amazing service. You're treated like family because you are! Been going here since i was a kid

Yesterday was our first time we went to this restaurant. But It is surely not the last. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the good service, with the superb dishes and fine drinks and with the comfortable price. We will no doubt go back there soon.

The food is excellent, but most of why I go there is Yuko (owner). She's like everyone's grandmother. She knows most of the people who visit by face, if not also by name. I haven't used a menu in years - I just tell her what I want. She even took my son next door and bought him gummy snacks! I don't even live close anymore, but when I want Japanese food I make the trip from Queens to see Yuko.

Family owned restaurant for over 20+ years. Yuko is the owner and server. Her husband and son are the chefs. The whole family is lovely, but Yuko is just the best! Mari is staff that helps as a server. Sushi is excellent and the teriyaki (beef, chicken, and salmon) dishes are delicious! I highly recommend this quaint and local business.
