“Went for a birthday dinner with a group of 6. The service was A1. Very nice and helpful. The table was also a horseshoe shape that was nice for the group to interact. It was restaurant week. The food was good, above average. Nothing blew us away but it was good.I will go back.“

“My first visit to Jerry and the Mermaid was nothing short of magical. Nestled along the seaside, this charming restaurant boasts not only impeccable food but also a breathtaking setting that instantly transports you to a coastal paradise. From the moment we stepped inside, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality that made us feel like longtime regulars, despite it being our first time there. Jerry himself checked in on us multiple times, ensuring that every aspect of our dining experience was nothing short of perfection.Despite the bustling Friday crowd during Easter weekend, Jerry’s accommodating nature and honesty about the wait time made our decision to stay worth it. And oh, was it worth it! As we strolled along the docks, soaking in the ocean breeze, anticipation built for what turned out to be a phenomenal experience. The food, oh the food! Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with flavor and made with the utmost care. From the freshest seafood to delectable appetizers, every bite was a delight to the senses. But it wasn’t just the food that left a lasting impression. The atmosphere of the restaurant, with its cozy yet vibrant ambiance, added an extra layer of charm to the entire experience. Surrounded by the sound of waves and the sight of boats swaying gently in the harbor, we found ourselves lost in the moment, savoring each bite and each precious moment spent at Jerry and the Mermaid. In a world where exceptional dining experiences are rare gems, Jerry and the Mermaid shines brightly as a beacon of excellence. Whether you’re a local or a visitor passing through, do yourself a favor and make a reservation at this seaside paradise. You won’t regret it!“

“Went for lunch while in the area and was pleasantly surprised. I did a quick search for gluten free and found this place. My mother has Celiac and was over the moon that she could have anything on the menu! My shakshuka was good, she loved her chicken sandwich. But the star of lunch was the fried calamari. The place is cute and intimate, good music playing. We'll be back next time we're near.“

“My wife and I have been here twice and both times have been a very enjoyable experience. The food was excellent, service attentive, and it’s a wonderful intimate atmosphere. The bourbon list is outstanding if you’re a bourbon fan. The whole experience is worth a night out.“

“Visited On the Docks for dinner during a quick getaway to Aquebogue and was really impressed with the food and service. I wish I could remember our server’s name, but he was exceptionally pleasant and attentive, without being annoying. The food was great too. We had the oysters (which were very fresh) and duck wings to start and then split a fried seafood platter and everything was delicious and well prepared.“

“Food is good and staff is nice, staff is young don't expect great service in the sense that they know the menu in depth. Friendly and kinda however, and also have a fun trivia night most Wednesdays. Don't buy their ramen though, ramen is my all time favorite food, I get it whenever I can. I live 5 minutes away from this place and never get their ramen cuz it's not very good. Great place for a burger and beer and to just hang out“
“Still thinking about my perfectly seasoned and cooked (so tender) bone in pork chop. Everyone loved their dishes. My beet salad appetizer was delicious , oysters fresh and a lovely glass of delicious Sicilian wine. Good value, great dining experience.“
“I've become a regular at this bar over the past several years. It's the only bar I truly feel at home in. Great local bar, cheap (50 cents/game) pool, affordable prices for any drink (whether it be bottle or draft beer, mixed drinks, or shots). Other regulars quickly became friends/like family. Always a good time no matter if it quiet or busy. Kristen and Carol are my favorite bartenders, always on top of "it". Always quick to fill your glass. James, the cook, is great as well, food is always cooked to perfection and consistent. Definitely worth a visit, you won't be disappointed. Back bar open in the Summer as well. 10/10 on everything!!“
“By far the cleanest and best shucked oysters I have had in a LONG time. We ordered the salmon and lamb as our entree ... EXCELLENT. The lamb was perefctly cooked as well as the salmon. The crispy Brussel sprouts and and potatoes added a tasy charred flair. The sweet potato paired as a perfect side for the lamb. Now lets get to my complicated drink order, an American twist on a caipirinha, our server was so eager to please me :). And it was delish!! They also make a VERY good LI iced tea. So glad we took a chance on this gem.“
“Those that know me well would wonder how desperate I might be to play golf that I would drive several miles from my home destination just to play the game. But that is not why I am willing to drive long distances to play the wonderful game of Golf. It's because I enjoy playing on a golf course that are difficult to get on unless you're a member. And if a family or friend invites to you to play, I never say no. The Vineyards Golf Course is a beautifully designed course that easily blends in with its surroundings. The course has three set of tee boxes which we chose to play the back tees of course. Why??, well because the young men I was playing with can drive ball 300 yards plus and sometimes on the fairway. It sure did not help my game when I attempted to drive the ball the distances they seem capable. I found the Vineyards golf course challenging with its rolling fairways, protected by large meandering sand bunkers, false fronts and hazards. We had a windy day that played in our favor on some holes and others which easily challenged us. The par-3 holes were a variety in length, direction and difficulty. The secondary roughs had fescue grasses and in some cases we were lined up along a corn field farm. Vineyards was much more challenging than I anticipated, but I very much enjoyed the course and would love to play there again before the season ends.“

“I happen to think this is the Best most Reasonably priced Restaurant in Westhampton. Very good food, not overpriced like so many other restaurants in the Hamptons. Everything I’ve had here has been good. Especially the steak and baked potato! Monkey brains are pretty tasty too! Good for takeout as well. I was throwing a dinner party last year for 20, my chef got sick last minute so I ordered everything from Buoy One. No one even knew I didn’t have a chef!“
