My wife and I were looking for a quick stop for a beer after a day on the lake. Found this place and the friendly greeting sold us right away. Handshakes and introduction from Tom and Jerry who we’re working behind the bar. We have never experienced before. We ended up sharing an appetizer from their specials and it was delicious. We will definitely be back. Definitely worth a trip for all.
Delicious meal tonight! I literally licked the plate! Chicken Martini will melt in your mouth potatoes & the veg of the night (green beans) were cooked to perfection! The lemon flavor was exactly how it should be, everything was seasoned correctly. Our waitress Marissa was very attentive, made sure we had everything we needed, plus some!
Stopped in on our adventure great spot great food definitely will go again

Friends Bar & Grill is a must-visit spot before seeing the lights at Bethel. It offers a friendly staff, clean casual atmosphere, and delicious food like weinerschnitzel and broiled salmon. The dinner specials are out of this world, and the Chicken Parm is tender and flavorful. Wheelchair accessible with a large clean bathroom, this restaurant provides great quality food and attentive service, making it a top choice in Bethelwood. The fish and chips and Guinness draught were excellent, and the Caesar salad, meatballs, and veggie burger were satisfactory, though it may be the only option in the Smallwood area.
