I love me some halal chicken and rice (best is halal guys obviously), this is one of the worst i've had. Not sure if it's just not good outside the city? Anyways, not bad by any means, but not really good either.

Great location with a great, and attentive team. Veggies were not as fresh as most folks would like however, the food is still good. I probably just got the tail end of the veggie trays and could’ve gotten fresher if I had gotten here a couple of hours earlier. Still a solid spot.

Price went up and portion went down. They are VERY stingy with the rice. You always have to ask for more (and even when they do give more, it’s 2
half scoops 😡) When you ask for another scoop of chicken (because they literally give you enough for a small child), they say you have to pay additional. When I asked for more white sauce they said it’s an additional 50 cents. WTH! This is getting out of control!

A perfect place for a healthy meal. Kashaj… I hope I got her name right, is so attentive to details and goes beyond to offer the best service.
Highly recommended

Mediocre dry and sparsely seasoned falafel that desperately needs sauce, okay fries. Front of house staff who took my order was polite but the kitchen staff seemed to be super inefficient, I ordered in person and waited almost 30 mins for 1 takeout order of fries and 1 order of falafel. It seems like they prioritize putting together all the online orders first so if you order in person expect to just be kept waiting.

Very bad attitude, I come here very often. This is the 1st time I felt like they were annoyed by my presence. Very bad service.

The family tried a new place for lunch today, SHAH's Halal Food.
(First time customers)

Lamb gyro with topping of tomatoes/cucumber mix and white sauce.
Lamb gyro with cucumber/tomatoes mix white and hot sauce.
Three orders of fries.
Cheeseburger.
Didn't know the cheeseburger had mayonnaise. The menu board didn't have it listed or the food menu to go card.
(First time customers)
Cheeseburger when brought it home has: lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, mayonnaise/ketchup on both sides of hamburger buns.
Sadly my Husband doesn't like mayonnaise, so we gave the cheeseburger to a member of our family.

The temperature of the food is great.
Salad topping fresh and stocked to put on platters and on gyros.
Fries taste seasoned and at a great temperature.
Variety of sodas, Snapple, and fuze tea drinks.
Staff friendly.
Time to go there: 11am before the very busy lunch rush.
Thankful and grateful for the delicious food and staff.
Next time ordering a cheeseburger without mayonnaise and going to try a platter which is served over rice.

To be honest, I've been a loyal customer. But as of lately there has been something off.

A few weeks ago, I noticed a strand of hair in my fish on pita sandwich (via Uber eats, buy 1 get 1 free).

As of today, giving this restaurant another chance, I thought I ate a hair strand in my fish over rice (maybe I didn't), but then I discovered a small piece of plastic in the rice. I had to stop eating the rice.

This isn't good. I try to be lenient about things, but when it comes to health, it gets to a point where I gotta speak up. I don't know who's been handling the food, but if this has been going on for other customers, and if customers have been complaining about discovering what's in their food, it wouldn't make sense to continue ordering unless it gets resolved.

Shah’s has been the go to meal for my wife and I for when we want a halal option in the Westchester area. The chicken over rice is a staple and you can’t go wrong with the BOGO deal they have.

I had a lamb and chicken combo over rice for dinner. Ingredients were fresh and portions big. Special mention for the humble rice ...it was one of the best tasting rice. I would just go and eat a bowl of that rice. ?
