I recently visited this restaurant for the first time and was impressed by the overall atmosphere. However, my experience took a turn when I encountered a significant issue regarding food safety.

Upon discovering a piece of seafood in my truffle fries—despite informing my waiter of my seafood allergy—no appropriate action was taken. The only resolution offered was removing the fries from our bill, which felt insufficient given the severity of my allergy.

To add to my disappointment, the manager did not check back with us to discuss our concerns and provide any additional compensation. Instead, I noticed staff laughing, which felt unprofessional in such a serious situation.

I hope the management takes this feedback seriously, as it’s crucial to prioritize customer safety. I appreciate the ambiance, but I left feeling quite let down by how my situation was handled.

I haven’t eaten here but this is my favorite late night spot to go to for cocktails. They’re wonderfully crafted and the staff there is great and very hospitable.

Such a cute place. Old school speakeasy vibes. Food was great. The staff were all super accommodating & friendly (we were there halloween weekend & they were all dressed up). We got there around 3pm & they don't officially open for dinner until 4pm but they allowed us to sit & have a drink while we waited for the kitchen to open. I would definitely go back.

✨ **Charming Ambiance, Delicious Drinks, but Needs More Engaged Staff** ✨

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this cozy little bar in my neighborhood, and I must say, its charm is undeniable. The warm, inviting décor creates the perfect atmosphere to unwind after a long day. The drink menu is a true highlight—whether you're in the mood for a perfectly balanced espresso martini or a classic Manhattan, you won't be disappointed.

However, my experience was somewhat marred by the staff's apparent lack of enthusiasm. It often felt like I was an interruption to their day rather than a welcomed guest. A touch more engagement and interest from the staff could truly elevate the entire experience.

In short, this bar has immense potential with its delightful drinks and cozy ambiance. With a bit more effort from the staff to make patrons feel welcome, it could easily become a go-to spot for many.

Well, what a terrible experience I had at this place. It was the first time I was accused of not paying for a bill that was actually not mine lol

My girlfriend and I decided to stop by after having dinner somewhere else in order to have a couple of drinks. As I got there this very nice lady greeted us at the door and sat as down at the bar. As soon as we sat down, a very nice bartender got us water and welcomed us.

However a couple of minutes went by and this other bartender came up to us and said “didn’t I just serve you guys over there? I could swear I just served you guys”. We said we had just arrived and it must have been a coincidence.

He then served us our drinks and proceeded on saying “it was definitely you guys over there” so things started getting a little bit uncomfortable and he proceeded on insisting it then apologizing, then saying the same thing again…

Obviously we decided to leave as he was making the whole thing very weird. Then he goes and talks to another bartender and comes with the check with a nasty attitude saying “well here’s the bill for the two drinks from now and the other drinks that other bartender served you earlier” and proceeded to cross his arms as if he had caught to schemers trying to avoid paying for their bill. I politely called the other bartender to clarify the situation and he clearly realized it was a mistake on their end and whispered something to the annoying dude’s ear. Then I also got the guy that initially had served us water to confirm we had just gotten there.

Only then he apologized and didn’t let us pay for the bill trying to make up for his terrible attitude. However he then said “Well if this wasn’t you guys I’m truly sorry they must have looked just like you, but if was you guys you’re getting free drinks on us anyways”

We just turned around and left, and as we got to the door we spoke to the nice lady that had sat us down to confirm our story. We were there for a total of 20 mins before deciding to leave and never going back there.

Funny enough, we were very well dressed and just looking to extend our night and having a good time. He manage to make things very weird and ruin the whole experience. I’m not exaggerating, if anything I’m leaving more details off as he kept on going on and on about insisting we had drinks before and didn’t pay for our “tab”. We will never go back there again, and I wont recommend the place to anyone I know.

The Blind Pig of Westchester is a brunch lover's paradise. The cozy atmosphere and soft lighting, creates an inviting space perfect for lazy weekend mornings.

For those who prefer savory options, the Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese Croissant did not disappoint. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked, and the hollandaise sauce was rich and tangy. On the other toasted croisannt half, the cream cheese, smoke salmon, capers, and red onions elevated the dish to new heights.

Service was attentive but not intrusive, with our server offering excellent recommendations. The seasonal brunch cocktail menu also impressed, featuring a refreshing Thunderbolt filled with Apple Cordial, Spices, Cranberries, Irish Whiskey, and Apple Liqueur.

Overall, a memorable brunch experience that combines quality ingredients with a warm, welcoming ambiance. I can’t wait to return for another delightful meal.
