If you looking for an amazing pie with great sauce and a light crust crunch this is the place to try. Family run businesses with a great crew. I have been coming here for years for dine in and take out, Utica pie ALWAYS hits the spot. Plenty of parking in front and behind restaurant.
Great experience and food. The portions were huge. The big salad was full of fresh ingredients and more than enough for 6 people. We got the meatballs and wings as sides and they were quite tasty. Be warned the pies take a while to come out as they are cooked to order and slow cook in the oven. I grew up in the Utica area so I was eager to try the tomato pie! Had a good experience ordering take out.
We were craving some deep dish style pizza and this place popped up on google. We ordered the upside down with pepperonis and at first thought they forgot them since there was a single pepperoni visible. But we realized most of the pepperonis were buried under the sauce.
Pizza had a good chew, fair amount of pepperonis, but the bottom could have been crisped more. The dough didn't have much flavor...
