This is my second time getting a cake here for a celebration and this time I had requested a mocha chocolate cake, which I didn't know if they could do and they absolutely nailed it! I picked it up yesterday and my dad was very happy with the cake, said it was delicious and it really was. Thank you so much White Plains bake shoppe for making my Dad's 75th birthday a special one. Definitely recommend you check out this bakery for your next special occasion. The staff was nice and attentive.

Don't know why I didn't visit sooner. Great selection of pastries, cookies, and bread. Ordered a delicious carrot cake. The frosting isn't overpoweringly sweet, while the cake has a pleasant tone of acidic spice.

I bought a few donuts and a sprinkle cookie for my daughter. they were all tasteless. guess they cut back in sugar, etc.they were pricey as well. I would not go back, sad to say

Parking in the rear, big plus. Ordered cookies to go and they were ready when I got there. They were delicious and festive. Very friendly staff!

Drove almost an hour to get here . Site says open. Its Wednesday one o'clock and the bakery is closed without anything on the door saying why. Major inconvenience they should put things on their Web page if they're closing

Addendum- I neglected to share how wonderful the staff were. They were patient and personal.My daughter tried the chocolate covered strawberries and loved them so maybe it was the one that I tried. She did however agree with me on the lackluster of the white chocolate covered berries.My son LOVED the miniature tarts. I'll be back to try the cookies and other pastries.

This is a wonderful bakery. My wife was buying a birthday cake for her mother who is turning 102. The owner went above and beyond to help make this occasion memorable and my wife and I thank him for his kind and caring touch.
