Nice little diner in Whir Plains. Good service and good food. Owner is a fan off The Boss aka Bruce Springsteen. There is a wall with some memorabilia dedicated to him. I had corned-beef hash with rye toast and eggs over easy, my uncle had the best Pattie's melt burger EVER. My hubby had a fried fish sandwich and he wasn't thrilled with it but I wouldn't think that would be the thing to order here anyway... we would all go back. Philly cheese steak sandwich. $16.72 after tax. Comes with fries. Sandwich bread is greased enough to where it’s not too dry or too moist. Meat is shredded and has a slight crispy slight gyro meat-like texture to it. Cooked onions. American cheese. I added green bell peppers, which they said no charge. They said everything is unseasoned unless the customer asks for seasoning, which is perfect. Diner vibe with seats at the counter - nice vibe, too bad it’s only daytime diner....read full review

My best friend, my neighbor, and I decided to go for lunch today and we decide to go to Dorry's Diner. Dorry herself helped us and gave us good suggestions for lunch. My friend and I both had a cheeseburger with coleslaw and pickle and fries and Coke zero and my neighbor had soup. Nice restaurant that used to be a coffee shop. Food was great.. we plan to make it go to place every time my neighbor is in town.
