If I could give zero stars I would! We had a truly terrible experience at Sun Cuisines, and I feel obligated to share it so others don’t waste their time or money here.
From the moment we walked in, the service was completely inattentive. We stood at the entrance for with no greeting or acknowledgment. One of the staff members, a girl at the front, was just sitting there on her phone, barely looking up. It was super unprofessional.

The dishes we selected were very good with a very beautiful presentation. Aung was our server and helped us with just the right amount of care, including minor adjustments for my use of a walker. High recommendation for both the food and the service.
I visited just after Sun opened in this location, and found the food good, but a bit bland. Finally stopped in for a second try years later, and we were glad we did. Tea leaf salad and a pot of tea made a lovely lunch with wonderfully complex flavors and nice textural contrasts. The new menu offers many tempting selections. The Burmese wide noodles are also popular and can be made spicy upon request. Many dishes are vegetarian and very good. The presentation of the food is beautiful, and the staff is caring and attentive, helping with minor adjustments for mobility needs. The atmosphere is pleasant, making it a nice place to enjoy a meal. Although service can be slow on busy nights, the overall experience is positive. With some improvements in staffing, Sun Cuisines has the potential to become even better.
