Amazing and authentic German food! I travel internationally and have spent lots of time in Germany. The food here is top notch. Warm friendly atmosphere with amazing staff. Make sure you ask for Tony she is the best! Delicious appetizers and entrees. The weekly seas food and other specials are always fresh! I am uncertain why this restaurant's reviews have not been as positive since they added Nunzio's Pizza to the front portion. It takes away some of the atmosphere, but we have been coming for years, and to us, the restaurant itself still has the same warm and cozy feeling, and we have not been disappointed in the food. We always ask for a table for two near the fire. I often get the fish specials, but this time I had the veal piccata, and my husband had the wienerschnitzel....
Pizza was good but the staff not so much, it may have been because it was during the parade and they were overwhelmed, but service no matter what is important. The guy in front of us asked for plates and was snapped at so we didn't bother to ask and because of attitudes did not ask for napkins either. The pizza was good and you can tell a lot from a cheese pie, I would definitely have it again just maybe on a day that the staff wasn't so "challenged."
