Oscar’s

I thought I had already reviewed Oscar's. But to the point of being redundant; Oscar's is a small and intimate restaurant where you can get first class foods for middle class prices. There is often live music and the wait staff is friendly and do their job well, there is often a wait for your food because it is cooked fresh and presented elegantly. I live 20 minutes away and didn't know this place was here, just happened upon it on the way home from my son's hockey practice. I wasn't expecting too much but was pleasantly surprised. It was a Thursday night and "Big Ang" was playing a guitar and singing. We had a blast there with my whole family (12 adults 5 kids). The musician was awesome, and totally made our night. It's family friendly, and the staff is phenomenalKid-friendliness: They have high chairs, no kids menu, but there are kids friendly options, and you don't feel like you are out of place with a child.
