“Hi. I had never been to Tandoori Flames Restaurant or even had Indian cuisine before this evening. I was very pleasantly surprised how much I liked it. I really loved the Mango Chicken and Butter Chicken my friend and I ordered and shared, and highly recommend both dishes. They have a great staff. All of the people that worked there were very friendly and nice. Our waiter was very helpfully informative, nice, friendly and attentive and the restaurant was very clean, and bright and had a very pleasant, warm, welcoming atmosphere all around. We really enjoyed it. I do recommend this restaurant to anyone who hasn't been here before, you really should give it a try. Thank you so much for the lovely evening. I will be back.“

Every bar/restaurant within a 50 mile radius gets $6-$7 per shot MAX! We're not in NYC .... I learned a valuable lesson tonight..... “Home cooked Mexican/Central American food that tastes like your Abuela would have made for you. This is the most homey Mexican food I’ve found North of Del Rio. Following the other great reviews here we found our way to this unassuming Bodega/restaurant while escaping the I-84 traffic jam on old Route 22. The whole family was delighted with the food. We had tamales like I used to get from street venders in Cuidad Acuña back in the 80’s. The tacos were tasty bites that the kids demolished with great gusto. Cheese empanadas for a bit more snack with cheese and cabbage garnish. The sauce for the tamales was very tasty, mild and fine for the kids soft tongues. We finished with a wonderful horchata, made in their own kitchen. It was so much better than the commercially sold horchata that there is really no comparison. For desert we snagged a chocolate covered frozen banana from the bodega and our delightful south of the border meal was complete. We will gladly stop again and will recommend this hidden gem to all our traveling friends!“

“This local establishment is open for dinner only. It’s decidedly local with an eclectic menu, excellent service in an atmosphere that focuses on local and regional information relating to the inn and the surrounding area.

We went with the NY strip and the baked cod. The strip was cooked to order and came out melt in your mouth good. The cod was lovely with the stuffing being rich but not too overpowering.

I am not sure what all the negative reviews were about. We did not have any problems at all and the food hit-the-spot ! ?

I placed my order on the phone, he said it will be done in 25 min. We got there in 25 min and it was ready to go !

We brought the food back to our hotel room, the French fries were still crispy, the pesto chicken sandwich was very good. The spaghetti was made just right (noodles were perfect, the meatballs were delicious). The steak and mash potatoes were also delicious.

Would I go back again ? Absolutely !“
