VERY EXPENSIVE. Watched the owner embarrass an employee that forgot to charge the customer for an extra egg. He literally called the customer back to the counter to charge an extra few bucks for one egg. The customer was like really? Then the owner starts telling the customer that eggs are up to over $9 a carton! lol, in what world?

No business sense and extremely overpriced for mediocre food. Spent $35 and was still hungry after. Smh

This place used to be my go-to for a great breakfast and the last 2 times Ive ordered its been a nightmare. This morning I called to order "the garden avo toast" when i was told they dont have the ingredients (cucumbers and raddish??) I ordered the strawberry fields avo toast instead and just like the last time i ordered from them, the toast was like 2 week old toast (or at least felt and tasted that way), what used to be fresh sliced avo was now packaged nastiness with NO flavor, and there was zero honey drizzle as advertised, instead they gave me pancake syrup (huh?). Sadly I will retire this place - the last few experiences have been embarrassing to say the least, ESPECIALLY for the same prices, worse quality. Shame

This place is splendid! I moved in the area not so long ago. Was constantly looking for a deli/bagel shop I could come to for my morning coffee before work, my lunches, and my weekend breakfast for my family.Well, I found my spot! I come here daily now! The service is unmatched, the food is phenomenal, and the atmosphere is clean. And not to mention, the platters are well designed and out of this world!Never had a bad experience here and always get exactly what I ask for to the tee.Thanks Gabby’s, with love!

Have been here 3 times based on my outlook of giving a place a chance to improve. Didn’t happen - just got worse each time. First time to pick up cookies to give when going to someone’s house. They turned out to be stale. The other two times for lunch. Long line, poor service and my order was wrong both times. Missing ingredients from my basic sandwich (specifically tomatoes in my tuna, lettuce and tomato sandwich). Soup was barely warm and tasted like it was made with dishwater. Cole slaw tasted bad as I wondered whether it had spoiled. The girl behind the counter was clueless and my friend had to guide her on the basics of what was in one of Gabby’s signature sandwiches. One redeeming attribute: great selection of Celsius-branded canned beverages.Update (day after the original post): I was right. The cole slaw was spoiled - or something else was wrong with my food. I ended up with stomach pains, spending a lot of time in the bathroom being sick later in the day. Couldn’t have been anything else since I didn’t have breakfast (and I was sick before dinner). STAY AWAY!!!

Slowest bagel store I have ever been in. Only 3 people on the line at least 6 people behind the counter that we could see. For one breakfast sandwich it took a good half an hour. Never will go there again

Many bagel stores around this part of NassauOrdered a Sesame bagel with NovaGabbys Bagels picked the smallest bagel I ever saw. Such a rip off.Extremely expensive compared to what's around Syosset/PlainviewNow I remembered why I haven't been here in awhile.Coffee want good either.Plainview has much better and friendly places!

I’ve tried my hardest to like this place because the food is sometimes really good but I will not be going here anymore. The first experience I had was when all three of my sandwiches I ordered were wrong. Not wrong in the sense that they forgot to add something wrong in the way that it was supposed to be bacon egg and cheeses and we got deli cold cut sandwich’s. We called the employee refused a refund we also went in an employee caused a verbal altercation with me over it.The second experience I had was I placed a phone order and the man was very helpful offering ways to elevate my bacon egg and cheese experience by adding mozz sticks. I went in to pick it up and the employee insisted on me posting the bagel on instagram. He was saying how it will be reposted and to tag them. Talking about “oh you won’t do it” over and over again. I posted the stupid picture and they never reposted so I deleted that the second I could. Not to mention this sandwich turned out to be terrible.My final experience occurred today when my family called In an order. It was three simple sandwiches two of them were made wrong. It’s honestly just a mixture of disasters that have completely turned me off from this place. The food has potential to be good and the service as well. This place is really disorganized there’s better delis and bagel shops in the area and I would recommend those over gabbys any day.

Bad treatment of staff (ask about the lack of humanity in their time off requests, for example) and bad bagels. Skip this place. Support good employers with good food.
