Total ripoff joint. They charge double the price for "specials" where you can't see the price and are too embarassed to ask. I ordered the lamb special which was one measly chop thinly sliced - they charged an outrageous $60 for this - truly sickening. The special Arugula salad was $19.00. Food was mediocre at best. I will not be back to this ripoff establishment.

We ordered the duck and the burger. The duck was too lean, under seasoned and the skin wasn't crispy. It wasn't worth $42. The burger was so-so. The best thing we ate that night was the truffle fries that came with the burger.

Menu offers a good selection for meat and fish lovers as well as vegetarians. Food is reasonably priced, well seasoned, beautifully plated and appropriately portioned. Owner and staff were attentive and accommodating. We will definitely return.

Excellent service and delicious food and their smoky signature cocktail was great & presented well. Entrees are a bit limited. They should add a steak and some sort of white fish to their regular menu and probably remove chicken sandwich from the dinner menu.

First disappointing visit. Three out of four entrees were dry and overcooked at these prices? Cinnamon donut holes had strange hot spice they burned our mouths. Our crab cake app (which is something I order everywhere) was like uncooked mush inside?? Burrata app was pretty good and fresh. Nice interior and decent service but something was going on in the kitchen?? Hope they can correct it.

Three of us recently enjoyed a delicious meal at this lovely restaurant. We highly recommend the squid ink pasta, the crab cakes and roasted chicken. The salads are fantastic and the cuisine in general is very innovative. If you are looking for vegan options, the choices are plentiful. We found the service impeccable and the ambience sophisticated. There was a live guitarist on the night that we visited which added to the mood. The Prix Fixe menu is a great value as well, with wine included! We look forward to going back soon!

It was a fantastic meal from start to finish. Wonderful service, beautiful, ambience, and delicious food we shared, crabcakes and mussels for appetizers fresh and delicious! I had the seared Tuna as my entree. Wonderful!!

The hostess and server were great. The food was delicious but pricey. I was just dissappointed that the moment we sat down the server told us they didn't have the Porterhouse Steak on the menu. It was my wifes birthday and I was looking forward to it. I will try again in the future.

I was excited to go here based on reviews. Maybe it was just an off night but this was a very disappointing meal (a view shared by everyone at my table). The food lacked flavor, and overall just wasn't of the quality I was expecting for the hype and price. At best, the food was just okay, nothing great or even very good. The staff was nice but execution was pretty poor (for example, bringing out all shared small plates at the same time so they didn't fit on the table, and handing me an unopened can of beer instead of pouring it in a glass). We all came in wanting to like it, but I don't think any of us will go back.

Absolutely fantastic experience all around! We went for dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday, and every single aspect of the meal was perfect! The beet hummus was delicious and came with really crispy fun crackers. I had a duck special that was by far the best duck I have eaten outside of France!! My husband has amazing pasta and mussels, and finished with crème brûlée which was also amazing! The staff couldn't have been nicer, and the ambiance was lovely as well! I will most certainly come back again!

This was our first time patronizing the Maidstone and it definitely lived up to the reviews that were posted. The restaurant is cozy, yet comfortable. Upon being seated, we realized the music that was playing was live and that was definitely a pleasant surprise. It was unobtrusive and just loud enough to be enjoyable. When being served water, we were offered fruit to add to our beverage. This was a nice touch. Bread was put on the table along with butter and olive oil with a splash of balsamic vinegar. Again another nice touch. The wine list offered many good selections and I was happy to see one of of my favorite Sauvignon blancs on the menu. I ordered the prix fix, which was good value. I had the mussels which had a delicious savory broth along with a few morsels of sausage. Absolutely delicious! Had the salmon for my main and crème brûlée for dessert. A very satisfying meal! The staff was attentive. Needless to say after such a satisfying experience, we will definitely be returning.

A wonderful brunch to celebrate friends Birthdays. We all enjoyed our dishes, I had the Shrimp & grits, yum! Our waited was super attentive. The chocolate chip cookie dessert was delicious. Great Bloody Mary too!

The food here was absolutely delicious. One of the better restaurants I have been to on Long Island. We got the crabcake to start followed by shortrib and duck.Service was great too.
