F. Ottomanelli Burgers and Belgian Fries

Let me start off by saying that this review is not a reflection of the girl working the counter; she was incredibly sweet and really cared about the customers. However, Ottomanelli has turned from being the best burgers I’ve had to apparently the worst. I have been a regular for years. I was even here 2 weeks ago and it was great. I don’t know what happened in the span of those two weeks but the burger was absolutely terrible. The meat was thick, dry, and bland (not to mention 2 out of 4 of us asked for medium and we all got well done), the bun was completely different than usual (stale and cold; I don’t know if it’s from a different bakery but it’s sure tasted like it), the cheese was cold and not melted at all, there was almost no sauce, and overall it was just a terrible, tasteless experience. This is NOT the Ottomanelli that I know. Whoever was cooking the burgers (May 12 at 5:30pm) either needs more training or needs to find a different field to work in because this was just ridiculous. My family was visiting me from Poland and instead of showing them the best burgers in the world, they ate something worse than McDonald’s. The biggest disappointment is when you have high expectations and think you know what you’re getting and are left regretting that you even came. I really do hope this reaches the owner/manager because I hate to lose a place that I’ve been going to my whole life. So please, stop the new nonsense and go back to the real thing

I know there’s this endless carrot of “the best” that people will chase endlessly, but even with those rumors as my reason the check this place out, I found more than “the best” can chew. Being a staple place beats novelty. My whole experience, service, price tag, dining, etc…. Awesome. This place not only makes you feel at home, the food is made to order, and you can tell spending $5 more than McDonald’s can get you this. Why be “the best” when you can be “home base.” Thank you for everything, looking forward to my next binge. Cheers

The new addition of Filipino Breakfast is amazing! You can feel that every dish is really cooked by heart. The Chef is very welcoming too.

Ordered without cheese but was lucky enough to have it on my burger when I got home 20 minutes away by car guess I should have checked not believe they would have of listened to my order 😭

I bought 3lbs of short ribs. When I told him the meat looked a little bit off. He said no worries it’s fresh. When I got home the meat smelled bad and it smelled rotten. My girlfriend cursed me out for not checking it before paying. Never again. Nasty ahh meat.

The ingredients are fresh and the service is warm.

Coming for New Jersey I want to have a burger. I been eyeing this place so I had the daily special. Love the double cheeseburger and the belgian fries. I forgot to take pictures because i was hungry. I been living in queens and it a hidden gem. Next time I’ll try the steak. Love it!
