Timur House Restaurant is a cozy, spectacular local Nepali place in Jackson Heights, Queens. The food is very delicious, flavorful, fresh, and absolutely amazing, prepared with care and giving an authentic Nepali taste. The pork momo, which is juicy and thin-skinned, is a notable offering, along with superlative thalis. These come with fragrant curries and fresh hot refills. Other incredible and hard-to-find regional specialties include mutton taas, choila, chatpate, and dhindo, which is considered the best in the area. The chowmein, jhol, and mango lassi are also excellent, and the masala tea is loved. The environment is amazing and the dining room is studded with locals. Service is great, polite, respectful, considerate, meticulous, friendly, and super nice. It is very obviously a family place and a great spot to get Nepalese food. If you come here once, you will definitely want to come again.
